You'll now see an extra avatar by my posts. This is where any ranking avatar would appear. I used the smilies as they are already on the phpbb image files and I don't have a set of 'ranking' images. If I see an appropriate set of ranking avatars I'll try them out to see what they look like although I doubt it's going to add to the forum's appearance and there is the quality v quantity issue so it's unlikely I will use any permanently. I'd still like to see how it looks before deciding.

Its going to get funny when everybody's post counts rise and they move into one of Chris' new categories. How many days til Madchester becomes a Grumpy Old Stormtrooper?

The counts go back to 0 everyone the hosting server is changed. I'd have more than 50 if the totals were carried across. Not that it really matters to me.

if totals were carried across then some post counts would be staggering, bordering on embarrasing

If you're not sure murf I hope this helps:-

Border \Bor"der\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. Bordered; p. pr. & vb. n. Bordering.]

1. To touch at the edge or boundary; to be contiguous or adjacent; -- with on or upon as, Connecticut borders on Massachusetts.

2. To approach; to come near to; to verge.

Wit which borders upon profaneness deserves to be branded as folly. --Abp. Tillotson

Is there a link to this in the "Read me before posting anywhere" forum (or somewhere else obvious), or could one be added? Because a few people have asked what these mean and do not know about the existence of this topic.
