PayPal account hacked!

Woke to an email this morning telling me I'd sent $500+ dollars to some g1t in the states.

I believe i've managed to cancel the payment, but has yet to reappear in my account.

Have obviously changed my password, advised PayPal and also signed up for the PayPal 'security key'. They'll text a unique number with each transaction that has to be entered with password.

I'd advise other PayPal user to do the same - and change your passwords people!

From my own experience I wouldn't trust Pay Pal or their partners in crime EBay as far as I could throw them. The whole process is laid out hugely in favour of people taking money out of peoples accounts and against those needing a refund.

Sorry to ADK for your experience but really I wouldn't touch these crooks with a stinky barge pole.

Sorry to hear that ADK.

I had an email earlier this week reporting suspicious activity. It was actually me paying a tenner to Jeff for the Elite Dream team game.


Changed my password anyway.
