tax on part time job

Post by mephisto »

Hi finance friendly fixers.
Ive been doing a low paid taxable job which has come to an end. On the side Ive been doing another part time job earning on average £300 a month.
How do I calculate the tax on this income? The first job paid no tax and £550 a month. How do I work out what and how to pay the rev?
Any advice appreciated. Cant imagine it will be loads but needs addressing. Thanks in advance money men.

I think the personal allowance is £11,850 so unless you have a third job - you wont owe anything
(12 x (300 + 550) = yearly pay), which is less than personal allowance.
