I don't get the point of this one, apart from the Organic line.

I can see a market for it for those busy city worker people AND definitely for customers with more money than they know what to do with.

I think the recipes are designed to use all the ingredients you are sent so there won't be bits left over.

The prices are high and it will set you back close to 50 quid for a 3 course meal for 2.

I can't see how they can bring the price down unless they team up with a supermarket chain to make use of the delivery network.

Cup a soup as a starter
Pot noodle as main
Ice lolly for dessert

A winner. The ladies will be swooning before the Special Brew is opened

I'd change the order slightly.

i.e. Special Brew for starters.

Their knickers will be off before you can get your sachet open.

Saves 50 quid as well so she can buy handcuffs and whips

Yes it was the "fella with the hair".

LS wasn't keen but it's a good shout IMO, especially when every other TV programme appears to be a cooking programme.

'Dear Dinnr Investors,

I wanted to let you know that Dinnr is launching a sub-brand called Forknado http://www.forknado.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this week. Hot lunch in East London (our initial delivery zone) for a fiver, delivered in 20 minutes max. Lunch at Hurricane Speed.

This is a complementary offering to Dinnr (Forknado is for lunch, Dinnr is for dinner) with plenty of cross-promotional opportunities.

What: The promise is simple: Hot lunch in 20 minutes max for £5 (no delivery charge). Our first day's special is Cali's food craze Ramen Burger (in meat and veg form). We change meals every day. Delivery hours are 11:30-2:30pm

Where: Here's a map of our current delivery zone.
https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit? ... QmvxtAMND4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And here are our postcodes.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... wZ0E#gid=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And if you love Forknado but are outside our zone, please enter your postcode here.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1sH3oDo ... U/viewform" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This will inform our expansion plans.

When: We're launching this week. We will inform you when exactly if you sign up here:
http://www.forknado.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Why: Because sandwiches are boring and sushi is expensive.

How: Sounds too good to be true, I know. What's the catch? We do kerbside delivery only (= you need to come out to collect) and we only have 2 different dishes every day to keep things simple. '

That sounds more reasonable - fiver for something much better than a Boots meal deal and cheaper than sushi/eat/pret etc considering what you get

That would appeal to me occasionally with one significant caveat

eff ed if I'm standing by the kerb for it - non starter

In Victoria - but unless I was sure it'd be there within minutes then who is going to stand by a kerb waiting???

I could be arrested for soliciting!

Or do they call on mobile and you go down and get it? :?

I'm told the customer gets a call when the delivery man (on a scooter) is 1 minute away. They won't want anyone (customer or scooter) waiting around on a kerb.

This is where supermarkets can improve their customer base. They can employ a celebrity TV chef who can do meals based on items sold in the store. The recipe can be on the supermarkets website with video. You just click on the recipe and get the ingredients with a printout of the recipe delivered.

Sainsburys did it with Jamie Oliver didn't they??

It makes a change the supermarkets being clued up - in the good old days Delia would mention a slightly rare product on TV one evening and you could guarantee every supermarket would be sold out by lunchtime the next day.

Sainsburys certainly used to have recipe cards in store, listing the ingredients required.
