One with ice cubes on Wednesday, yesterday and today saw a lot of rain in short periods. Dodged Weds and Thurs downpours by seconds, got absolutely soaked today whilst visiting Cartagena.bigsheff wrote: I got back Tuesday had a couple of small showers.. When did the storms arrive?

It's reported that 70% of Cartagena's total rainfall for 2014 fell in just 2 hours that evening you were there.Vid wrote: got absolutely soaked today whilst visiting Cartagena.

Are we sure Gooberman didn't happen to be there on that very day as welladmin wrote:It's reported that 70% of Cartagena's total rainfall for 2014 fell in just 2 hours that evening you were there.Vid wrote: got absolutely soaked today whilst visiting Cartagena.

It was slightly moist in the Cartagena region when I was there in the 1970's.
Completely dry when I was in the same region last month.

I was in Pollenca in Mallorca for 2 weeks had a day of very heavy rain then thunderstorms for 3 days but just a couple of hours in the afternoon, clear before and after - first 8 days were 30c or so. Nice

They postponed it to the Sunday as everywhere soaked Friday evening.Vid wrote: So probably cleared up in time for the Roman invasion?
The Roman Gladiators with horses and chariots on the Sunday evening in a former bull ring was good fun too. Only 5 euros a ticket.
