Clash of clans
Getting addicted to this game but seem to have hit a brick wall on quite an early battle called thoroughfare
I've had a look on youtube and one guy has posted a video using a ballon to whack out the air defences.
Does anyone else spend hours on this game?

First send in giants with wallbreakers and then send in the goblins. Easy

Re: Clash of clans
okay - I'll go for 8 giants & 4 wall breakers & assorted others
I've grabbed all the goodies so I'll spare my goblins for later on
I'm going in

This game is so addictive
Tried Boom Beach but didn't think it was as good
Is there a Fiso Clan

Re: Clash of clans
I've only just started out on this as I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Although it seems to be the usual mix of newbies and ppl with too much money/time on their hands it's been fun so far but I'm getting a bit bored having to wait for things to build. I've not joined a clan yet so would be up for joining a FISO startup as that might help my enjoyment of the game.

Re: Clash of clans
I'm up for a FISO clan, is a good game. Current random clan is fairly rubbish, so happily move across. Level 6 town hall currently!
Be good to try some of the clan war stuff - get those troops donated!

Re: Clash of clans
I'd set it up now if I had the money! I'm only level 3 (upgrading to 4 atm) TH so not leadership material either.
There is a FISO clan already so unless that's jim I'd suggest FISO Forum.

Re: Clash of clans
Town House 9 at the moment, in a good clan. We war every week. Completely changes the game and makes it so much better in an active warring clan!

Re: Clash of clans
Good work Billy
I'll set up a Fiso clan for the small people - hopefully you won't pop in and give me a wupping
Edit - suggestions for a decent name would be handy
Edit edit - think I'd better boost my meagre village before I join / create a clan
(just visited the Fiso warriors)

Re: Clash of clans
My suggestion was above. I think it's a case of chicken and egg, build first or join a clan then build.

I must be a bit thick - when I looked at the Fiso forum clan it was mainly in Deutsche
Is there one for English speaking Fisoers Dr?

Re: Clash of clans
My suggestion was for 'FISO forum' - I didn't think there was one called that already.
I assume ours should be via private invite only?

Re: Clash of clans
I've been playing since it started about 2 and a half years ago.
Am up to level 117 and am (finally) getting bored.
Supercell are very sneaky. The game preys on your impatience, it's fun, quick and easy to start with to draw you in, then it starts taking longer and longer to do upgrades, encouraging you to buy gems to speed things up.
My upgrades now take 2 weeks to complete And it takes a good 2/3 hours to build an army fit for battle (unless you use those precious gems of course)

Re: Clash of clans
I'm well impressed that after all that time you're only just getting bored. I should stop moaning about having to wait a few days to get to a decent level I suppose...

Is it possible to find individual players or do you have to go via a clan?

Re: Clash of clans
Tried clans, didn't like it, will try it again to see if the clan element makes it more enjoyable. Boom Beach on the other hand is my idle passtime of choice. Love it.jimwinn wrote:I had a quick look at Boom Beach might give it a whirl next - it looks a blast

Re: Clash of clans
You coming, Jim?
We're a fair few short of what we need to take things to the next level - I find it hard to believe there aren't any other players on a forum of this size...
