RP's best XI (4-4-2):
Hahnemann
Zubar Craddock Berra Van Dammne
Hunt Jones Henry Kightly
Doyle Fletcher
Hmmm, I would have thought Myokoulo (sp?) would have grabbed one of the two centre spots. Hunt might be worth a punt here or there but I can't see much value FF-wise. A last-day fight against relegation looms IMO.

Why was Van Damme subbed at 70 minutes-fitness, injury, or in danger of losing the starting position?

Anyone know if Mouyokolo will be a regular starter at either CB or RB, wasn't in the squad at the weekend?

Fitness. If he adapts OK to the prem then he should be a regular. Always a bit of a risk (look at Milijas last year) but he's firmly in Mick's plans at the moment.softcoal wrote:Why was Van Damme subbed at 70 minutes-fitness, injury, or in danger of losing the starting position?

Been injured and not fully fit yet. Will play some games soon, but too soon to say whether he'll become a regular. Good player though by all accounts.wiseowl65 wrote:Anyone know if Mouyokolo will be a regular starter at either CB or RB, wasn't in the squad at the weekend?

Re: Wolves 2010/11 General Chat & Starting X1 Thread
Thought this question would be better aimed at Wolves fans rather than in general
Does anyone know if Zubar will get his place back when he returns from injury or will Kevin Foley take it?
I picked Zubar for one of my TFF teams but didn't do my homework otherwise I would have realised he had been injured through most of preseason and probably picked Berra instead.
I,ve tried looking over the internet to see when he is likely to come back, but according to Physio room only Kevin Doyle is on the list for Wolves and is out for 3 days.
So back to the question will he get back into the team or will Kevin Foley be more than a stop gap?

Foley played well against Stoke but Zubar should get the right back slot when fit. Zubar's better than Foley, although Foley is a great squad player.

Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will replace Kevin Doyle for the Barclays Premier League game at Newcastle after the Republic of Ireland frontman suffered medial knee ligament damage against Macedonia last weekend.
It will be the only change from the side which overcame Aston Villa 1-0 a fortnight ago to extend their unbeaten run to four games.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has taken the unusual step of naming his starting line-up 24 hours before the St. James' Park clash, but Michael Mancienne and Stephen Hunt will be vying for a place among the substitutes after recovering from injury.
