Apologies you are correct.

That first class flight back to Japan for the friendly against Uruguay, must have taken a bit more out of him than I thought.

Do Saints fans (Hoppy) expect Ward-Prowse to become a fixture in the starting X1?

He's highly rated and he's in the box seat but he's only 18 and has competition for his place. A risk.

Is it time to get rid of lalanna, took a gamble and it hasn't paid off but he has been really bad lucky scored a goal in GW 1 which was wrongfully ruled off side and today didn't get to penalty call and always come off in the 60th minutes

Most Saints fans are bemused why he has been subbed off early, he has been our best player and most likely to create anything and he hit the post yesterday too. Have to say I have been very disappointed by Saints in the last 2 games overall, I expected us to score more, 2 goals in 3 easyish games isn't great. He will get points but it's whether you have the patience to wait and at 3.6m in TFF there are better options.

Yoshida must be wondering what he needs to do to start a game in World Cup year?

Good enough to play for Japan but clearly not good enough to play against Norwich?

happyhoppy do you think Lambert will be under pressure from Ramirez for the No.10 position, now that Osvaldo is the No.9? Does Ramirez offer more guile/mobility?

This is a hot topic at the moment as SRL has undoubtedly been quiet of late, the general consensus is that we cannot play them both and one has to give but who? Last season we had success at 4231 but this year we are playing a more fluid version but almost 424 at times, this was seen at WHU where we had massive gaps in midfield. Who do you drop? I cannot see either and both will be accommodated for the foreseeable future although my opinion is that SRL is due a rest, he was arguably our poorest player at Anfield. Ramirez is a long way short of being good enough at the moment, occasional flashes of brilliance are not enough for MP and I don't think he trusts him to do what he wants hence no game time.

The defence is looking pretty settled now, Fonte and Lovren have forged an excellent understanding and partnership and I don't see Yoshida getting in any time soon. Clyne and Shaw are nailed on full back positions.

The defensive midfield pairing is Schneiderlin and Wanyama, Cork unlucky to be left out after last season.

Lallana picks himself as captain which leaves J-Rod ahead of Ramirez, Davis and JWP for the last attacking spot.

Quick question. Is Kelvin Davis definitely the no.2 GK? Or is Gazzinga in with a shout?

Boruc 100% 1st choice. Officially Davis is no 2 yes and played in League cup. Gazza is young and will get chances but will be limited.

No but Chambers may get the odd game here and there as he did well when he played.

If the saints really want to have a serious go at getting into the top four, really need to be beating mid table opposition like today's. ;)

You were unlucky to concede (apart from it being offside) as you didn't really look threatened; but you seemed to lack ideas going forward and didn't really worry de Gea. (Can Osvaldo run?) On the plus side you looked the better side, and I saw 46-54% in your favour for possession, but it looked like you had more than 54% to me. A bit more guile around the pen box and you would have won, imho.

Don't worry about it. My leading team is now a Man City block defence so they are automatically cursed.

Osvaldo suspended for two weeks by the club for an incident at the training ground.

No official explanation given, however Mail suggest it was an attack on Fonte (I suspect any possible injury to Fonte would be of more interest to FF managers than Osvaldo's suspension!)
