Episode Three?
5 episodes are on Showbox or Megabox apps.
Of the current series I am committed to, iZombie 2, Blindspot, Homeland 5, The Last Kingdom, this is head and shoulders above the rest.
The screen writing is spot on, with some great characters. old Ted Danson is a great casting, Kirsten Dunst shines so does her screen husband. I remember in episode I at first thought he was an overweight Matt Damon, impressed he had piled on the pounds for the part, but in fact in acts as good as his slimmer doppelgänger.
Because there are so many varied characters, and plots it never lets up on keeping you hooked, apart from the State Trooper Lou, the series does not hang on 1 or 2 characters. Homeland writers would do well to take note.
One of the best series since Fargo 1.

Meanwhile, for those who can't bear the wait, the second series of the Nordic Noir Arne Dahl (BBC Four Saturday nights) is shaping up well. Last week's double episode was particularly good. The story was a bit convoluted but I'm warming to the characters, especially the woman who plays Kerstin (below), the team leader. Reminds me of Laure in the (brilliant) French police series Spiral.

I am quite jealous that British viewers get to see some of the best foreign television series from non-English speaking countries. These shows and series are very rarely presented on North American television.

I thought something was up hence my hesitancy. Sunday seemed like an odd place for it too.

Consider it a second chance for those who, like me, missed the original broadcast. :)

Was that the dinner party one? If so I said the same, absolutely brilliant. I was half-hoping the new series would be rubbish so I wouldn't be sorry to see it finish - no such 'luck'.

The dinner party episode was the best episode of peep show IMO for a long long time. This series up to this episode has only been ok but this was brilliant.

I'd go with better than ok, the wedding one for example was very good too. Nothing compared to the previous episode though - that's up there with the best of recent British comedy like The Office Xmas party or the silent episode of Door Number 9.

Really enjoying The Bridge 3, easily as good as the first two. There's a psychological dimension to this series that wasn't there in the first two. I also much prefer Saga's new sidekick Henrik to her old one (Martin), who was a drip.

Meanwhile The Affair just gets better and better. Who'd have thought there'd be so much more mileage in this story? It's the best thing I've seen on TV all year (apart from Game of Thrones, of course). All hail Sky Atlantic :D .

First episode at the waffle house near Luverne, Minnesota, Rye, the youngest Gerhardt son, attempts to extort Judge Mundt into unfreezing his business partner's assets, only for the encounter to violently devolve. Rye kills the judge, along with a cook and a waitress. Afterward, distracted by an apparent UFO sighting, Rye is struck by a passing car which drives off with him stuck in the windshield.

Breaking Bad fans will know him for playing the vile Todd.

The UFO has come up a couple of times in passing too. Some redneck was rambling on about it to a bored Lou and I'm sure there was another mention. I hope they cover it properly before the end otherwise it's a weird anomaly in a show with no other supernatural elements. That said, I could forgive them anything as both series have been superb.
