TFF 4FD / FPL King of the Drafts Combo League 18/19

Further to discussions in last year's thread (viewtopic.php?f=376&t=125701&start=90) and this season's sister TFF Four Full Draft (4FD) League (viewtopic.php?p=3240831#p3240831), this is a new thread for the FPL Draft League.

Priority will be given to the same TFF draft members (see below) but with reserve spaces for those that wish to participate in this FPL draft but not the TFF one up to a maximum of 12 entrants (streety for example who has expressed an interest to enter this alone plus currently a maximum of one more if all TFF 4FD participants play this as well).

The current members of the TFF 4FD which take priority in this league (max 12 participants) are as follows:

I have set up the first FPL League and posted the code below. Please do not forward codes to other players or enter the league if you have not declared an interest first in this thread and been accepted to join as the names above take priority given their inclusion in the TFF 4FD.

For my spreadsheets to work I need to know your team names in each league so once you join PLEASE POST YOUR TEAM NAMES ON THIS THREAD.

Rules
(1) You will enter a team into both competitions and then join the respective leagues set up by Striker (on TFF 4FD) and me (here). I will need a post on this thread from each member that contains their team names.
(2) The game rules and scoring set up by TFF and FPL will apply to your respective teams throughout the season.
(3) The rules / scoring adjustments will be similar to the main game TFF/FPL Combo League but obviously using the "draft" formats of the game (four number FPL drafts to coincide with the TFF 4FD dates that Striker administers), i.e. in a similar ilk to the TFF 4FD we will have a total of four FPL Drafts over the season (so please ensure you have at least 4 FPL draft spaces left - I think you are allowed a maximum of 10 different draft leagues in total?).
(4) We will take the scores up to our designated new draft dates (to be confirmed mirroring the TFF 4FD dates) and then start a new FPL draft league each time; adding together each draft quarter score up to that changeover point. I will then monitor and periodically post a TFF 4FD / FPL Draft Combo League summary similar to the main game TFF/FPL Combo League here but in draft format (viewtopic.php?f=130&t=128169) over the course of the season so we can try to establish who the King of the Draft Leagues in both formats is.

Entry Deadline:
See first draft date below (Tue 4 Sep 2018 21:30). The further 3 draft dates are to be confirmed but likely for the official roughly around the same time as the TFF 4FD (typically during the international breaks and just after New Year?)

Any entries after the confirmed deadlines will not be entered into the competition and removed from the league.

Gameplay:
Each week your teams' scores will be combined into a Superleague that I will post on FISO as often as I am able. Your TFF score will be factored up by 1.2 to equal out the scoring systems.
Gameweeks will be based on the FPL structure (see below).

Gameweeks:
The combined league will be posted after the final match is played and scores updated by TFF and FPL in the respective gameweek.
Gameweeks will be based on the FPL GW rules - These are listed on the website.

Just spent 40 minutes compiling a draft list as I won't have time just before the game itself. Am I right in thinking that an assumption of no more than 10 managers turning up at 9.30 pm is probably safe, i.e. 20 keepers, 50 defenders etc.

If you've run out of your 60 seconds and don't have any permissible players in your wish list, do you get the highest ranked remaining player based on the FPL rankings?

Yes to all this.

Do you know you can set up your preferred draft order in the draft room in advance of the draft.

The game will automate your pick order from this and tgdmpwgtag to the default rankings to complete if your list stop out?

As robot says it helped him draft a better team than he would have achieved in the flesh last week!!!

There was an amazing run of about four/five when you (Bill) were a couple of slots ahead of me in the bidding (not your other bid far away from me) when you kept picking my next intended pick. The run only came to an end when you selected Lloris.

Alert managers will note that the scoring for the second quarter starts one set of fixtures later in TFF than it does here. That's 'cos TFF includes the FA Cup, so dividing each comp into four quarters means each quarter of the FPL comp includes approximately one set of games less.
