Fpl rookie draft league
Hi I know it's early but was just seeing if anyone would be interested in a draft league no money involved just pride. Would like to find 9 players who would post regularly for trading purposes etc we would do the draft on an evening everyone would be available and then take it from there

Re: Fpl draft league
I'm pretty sure I read that you couldn't trade between teams. Everything has to be done through the Free Agents/Waiver system.

Q: How do I make transfers?
The Scout: After the draft, managers can make changes to their squads in two ways.
They can submit a “waiver request” for a new player or make a direct transfer from the free agents pool.
There are no direct transfers between managers.

Re: Fpl rookie draft league
I'd be up for it. No interest in FPL but a draft league could be a fun alternative.

I've played FPL for a few years, but never a draft league.
I am very interested so will keep an eye on your post.

Re: RE: Re: Fpl rookie draft league
Once you've set up the league there is a countdown to when the draft actually starts I.e 12 hours or a week or something along those lines from then you can set up your watch listJok57 wrote:Hi At what point please do you set up yourS_sutton87 wrote:Just did a practice draft 90 seconds a pick first pick is random then reverse order and so on like that can set up a watch list to keep track of certain players can't wait for the real season to start let's fill the league

Hi....is there any possibility of joining for a practice draft and then deciding whether we want to stay in for the season. Wouldn't want to commit before trying it out.

Re: Fpl rookie draft league
I'm up for this one, already had a draft practice and can confirm it works well. If we have 8 players I think the draft will take just over an hour, we flew through one last night with 8 in 30 mins but many just press their draft and moved on.

Re: Fpl rookie draft league
I've done 3 now. I think you'll find if people are just going on their draft list or are not actually present, then the draft engine runs down the full time, initially. Then if people don't push the button to make the next pick themselves the machine is very, very quick with its picks. If people are online, you get a relatively quick draft as humans make their decisions. The one we did last night had every person online, by past experience, as every pick was 10-45secs. If some were offline the machine would have picked within a second or so for the absent manager.
