What do FFS do with the league of leagues prize money? Pocket it?

I know on here it is shared out which is a nice thing to do.

Was up to 25th yesterday and have three players playing tonight. I continue to be baffled by how well my team is doing!

Wow, storming ahead. Noble, Nolan / stoke defence/keeper probably all quite popular choices amongst the top teams... but can't see many people having 3. Fingers crossed you will be heading to even higher pastures after tonight!

Nope my three are all Stoke players...

I've used 12 transfers now so 18 left. Would love to know how many transfers people have left in the top 100. I'm sure there are some who have burnt through the maximum they could have by now (20?) and some who have not spent many.

If everyone could see each other's teams, you could compare your super team to the useless teams below you and there would be no more confusion.

Great effort to get so high in the rankings - well done. It is difficult to know how you are placed with the teams on top as we don't know how many transfers they have used but if you keep picking the right captain, you will catch them in no time :D . Edit: just seen how many transfers you have used just now - I would say there are definitely players ahead of you that have used less transfers - but I have been told that it is not how big your transfer count is - how you use your transfers is more important :!:

I am not at the same level as you rankings wise, but I also have 3 players playing tonight. I would also say there could be a few top players with players playing tonight but at least you are guaranteed to at least stay where you are - if not better.

I am sure I don't need to remind you, but I would to remind myself and anyone else that games are coming thick and fast at this time of year and the next gameweek consists of both weekend and midweek games. Therefore, MAKE SURE you pick a captain that you are happy with for both games and make sure you don't transfer out a captain before the midweek game unless his leg has fallen off at the weekend. :)

Also, I have been notified that my favourite competition, the sky knockout cup, will be starting on the 28th November. I am so winning this this year 8-)

No Stoke clean sheet so have remained joint 25th. Do you know what? I didn't know it's a double game week but I guess that is consistent with my shock at doing well at this game despite not really spending enough time on it. So thank you kindly for your insight.

Good luck for the weekend everyone.

As per Two Left Feet's previous comment, remember it is a Double game week in the sky game this week for all teams, with matches this weekend and on Wednesday and who ever you captain today will stay captain for the midweek matches too.

Heady heights of 12th with 5 players to play today. Had RVP as captain though so need him to justify that come Wednesday. Mind you, I expect most have him as captain.

Nice managing to climb up the board yesterday. Looks like you have helped the FISO league back up into 2nd place :D

Not much movement in general yesterday.... I guess we will find out today if that is because everyone captained RVP and not many of the usual players hit the target, or whether everyone has filled up with the likes of bale, suarez, tevez, aguero, mata, hazard....

Couple of big weeks coming up now. Bale injured? Suarez banned. Chelsea about to miss a week. A few transfers going to be burned through I reckon.

Unless you have transfers you wish to burn, I would not be advising transferring Mr. Suarez out of your team - he is only missing the away West Ham game and I personally would like him in my team fresh for the next two home Liverpool games. I suppose you could get a Sunderland/Reading player for the extra game but that would likely be another transfer to be used to get them out again.

It is the same story with Bale - next week is the hard away game and then two homes games in a row - wait and see how bad the injury is.

I can't believe how lucky you are and how unlucky I am by the way - It is so unfair  - keep up the good work and go with your gut instinct at all times. :D

How do you know how lucky I am without knowing my team? :D But yes, I probably have been lucky so far!

Certainly not getting rid of Suarez but Hazard is annoying me! May ship him for Defoe.

I had Suarez and Torres (nx wk) so out Suarez in Fletcher, Next week out Torres in Suarez put Torres back in for his next game.

3 Transfers - Don't lose Suarez or Torres for any game they play and get the following from Fletcher. (Should be a minimum 10 points gain. Won't with my luck but a good theary as he does have an average this season of 5.09 x 5 = 25 point gain)

Fletcher
Norwich A
Chelsea H
Reading H
Scumchester United A
Southampton A (Sat 22nd)
Put Torres back (Sun 23 rd) ( I think lol)

Just hope he is back for the 2 home games. :-)

Please remember that there is another double gameweek this week (22nd and 26th December) AND there is ANOTHER double gameweek next week (29th December/1st January).
Make sure you pick a captain for both games in the gameweek please.

How did those transfers go for you? Strange that you made them all before a game week, rather than after the saturdays matches to enable you to get that extra game via players playing on a sunday.

Website doesn't look to be updated yet, but imagine it would have been a strange Christmas for most... I'm guessing lots will have brought back in chelsea players but now likely to be a larger split between mata, hazard and torres whereas before most people would have had torres.

Luiz got two MOM in his new role, and also seems to be picking up the passing / tackle bonuses. Previously (Thanks 2LF for the info) Mikel was their number 1 for bonuses, so if Luiz is taking this position he could prove plenty of value with both clean sheets and now bonuses and MOM looking likely. Obviously a risk that when Terry is back, Luiz shifts back to the back. But then with Mikel of to ACN, maybe Luiz will cement his midfield place.

Bale looking impressive now. I would imagine most would have transferred him out with his injured spell (unless people are short on transfers), and with no extra games to get by transfering him back in, I'm not sure many would have had him yesterday and if they did unlikely to be captained. Could be another target...

Also the Arsenal game being cancelled may have impacted people as well - arteta and cazorla both on form lately.. will people have got rid due to missing a game or held on... with the double game week for arsenal coming up in January now it would probably have been best to hang on.. Also lots of chat about Walcott being their new main man... so far since that talk has come out he's done nothing and then missed a game week. Could be a good buy though if everyone's hopes and dreams for him materialise in the coming weeks and a good differential from arteta and carzorla who will remain most peoples arsenal picks.

Anyhow... seems I have now written enough to justify this being my 100th FISO post  Best of luck working your way up in the leaderboard in the new year everyone!

If we are the winning Private League (based on the average of the top 5 teams) and win the £5,000 1st prize then I will distribute it (via bank transfer) as to £2,000 to the 1st placed team, £1,000 to the 2nd and 3rd teams and £500 to the 4th and 5th teams and the team managers will need to PM me with their bank details for me to action this. In addition Sky Bet will distribute the prize pool (based on £5 per team entry) to the top 4 teams based on the above prize split. I have chosen a £5 entry fee because this is the minimum deposit required by Sky Bet for which you will need an account to enter a team.

Note:

Per the rules, a team may participate in a maximum of 3 Private Leagues and in a maximum of 2 Private Leagues+. So one team can enter both of the above leagues (but would need to deposit £5 with SkyBet to enter the Private+ league).
As per above please can the top 5 contact me. I will let you know when I hear from Sky.
