Happy with that start as I haven't played the game for years.

I'm guessing the reason we are all higher than we usually are at this stage is a more predictable start and the captain changes...

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2016/17
In the past you would have had people already using 30 plus transfers in week 1 and week 2 with block defenses going for the weekly prize.
This year people going for a weekly in either week 1 or week 2 would have only used 5 transfers, and people going for monthly would have used 10.
As well as less transfers in those teams, having less transfers would remove some of the edge people would have had from entering a bulk load of teams (as you can't go for a block defence Friday Saturday and Sunday, and also you will only be using a couple more transfers than a seasonal player rather than 20 more transfers)m losing the edge has most likely put people off dong mass entries for the monthly or weekly.

Unless you have a large family it's a maximum of two teams per entrant. I suspect Joe Public are not aware of the new Captain rules.sparx14 wrote:In the past you would have had people already using 30 plus transfers in week 1 and week 2 with block defenses going for the weekly prize.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2016/17
So got a flag showing for noble and friend this morning. Any advice on what to do with them?
Probably end up keeping as noble will probably start and friend should only miss one game.
Although noble seems a bit shit so far. So could maybe change him to stuani or gueye allowing me to upgrade friend to pva or Davies. However not really sure gueye is that much different to noble, if stuani is a one hit wonder , Davies has horrendous games but got lots of mom last time he was in the game, and although pva should get some goals or assist I'm not sure these will cancel out all the goals that will be scored for fun against Sunderland this year.

Can people login at the moment?
I just get a message - Whoops! You appear to have lost your connection! Please ensure you have an internet connection, and then try again.
Is there a problem with the site or is it just me? (obviously I have a connection or I wouldn't be able to post this)

Greetings! just logged in to check, prompted by your post - no problems here (apart from the state of my teams). The sky game front page does hang on occasion (that's the new swirly graphic causing problems) but even that's ok tonight.

Thanks guys. Looks like it's a Firefox problem, I tried IE but hardly anything works on that these days, but it seems to be alright on Chrome

I have this issue on my phone App. I thought it was because of the old Android software it uses.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2016/17
Just wondering how people where dealing with the Aguero suspension in this game? The difference being you can bring in Sanchez for the two games Aguero misses instead of opting for Costa or Lukaku or Kane.

Re: Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2016/17
Having a bit of a re-organisation of my side to set it up for the next 3 or 4 weeks (hopefully), Aguero will become Defoe and Vardy will become Lukaku. Will probably delay bringing in Aguero for another week as he doesn't play until after all my other forwards that week. It's a bit of a risk leaving him out for Swansea but I've got captain coverage that week.redcanuck wrote:Just wondering how people where dealing with the Aguero suspension in this game? I think I will just swap Aquero for Sanchez than make a decision when Aguero returns. I have Ibrahimovic so will keep two of the three.

I have 365 points and am 123rd place. I find it incredibly difficult to believe as I didn't think I had done much that was too remarkable!
