In a way, yes but he has his chance at 30-0 up when he over screwed a simple positional shot. I did feel sorry for him though. Great game.Surprised wrote:Bingham has been a bit unlucky in this frame

Re: 2011 Fantasy World Snooker - Now Underway
From an organisational point of view, there is a good spread of entries at the top of the leader-board with different players left.
I think I'm out of it but there are still a lot of people that can take it away from bluenosey. Not even going to try and see who has got who left, and which people have 2 players playing against each other. If anyone wants to spend a happy couple of hours, I'm sure it'll make interesting reading, but it's not for me.

bingham was unlucky to a point..put up a great fight but he will have nightmares over that over screw when 30 up in the decider
bit worried with ronny as usual missing that red when 12-8 he looked distinctly unbothered but heyho thats him innit
massive game in the young career of trump tommorow
can he handle it..i like to think that he can

Yes, it's a close one. Ding hanging on was good, as stills gives me a chance of four semi-finalists! Was hoping McLeod would gain you more negative pointsbluenosey wrote:I'll do the scores tomorrow. Re: 2011 Fantasy World Snooker - Now Underway
The results of the last 16 are now in.
In the top half of the draw, all of the top seeds are through to the quarter finals. However, yours truly only just survived an epic match with Grant who can consider himself very unlucky. I will play Darbyand in the quarters, who overcame Saint Mark.
The number 5 seed Knulpuk despatched of ChrisMar to set up a tussle with the number 4 seed The Bear, who overcame fellow countryman PolarBear 147.
In the bottom half, the number 3 seed Jules crashed out to the unseeded 2 Left Feet. 2LF will play Surprised, who edged out The Postman in a thrilling decider. The Postman was about to pot the final pink when someone shouted out "Come on Postie". Alas, this put him off and Surprised potted the last two balls to win.
On the other table a tense battle ensued between Murf and Spencer, the former getting a kick in the deciding leaving Spencer to clinch victory.
And then we have the final match. Well, what can I say ? How on earth do you separate ToffeeLover and ShadyOne, both high scoring with 67 each ? The members of the FCWSABA (Fiso Council of the World Snooker and Billiards Association) were summoned to an an emergency meeting. It was decided that the result should be determined by players remaining. This means that ShadyOne just squeeks through on snookers equivalent of goal difference *
* Guys - first time this has ever happened and unless you physically want to meet and play a frame, I think this is the fairest way of splitting you. Please let me know if you can think of a better way of sorting this. Ta.) **
** Subsequently overruled by the WPBSA - see below.

When Ronnie went to 12 frames I still needed 2 from Murphy to be safe and he got them.
I now need Ronnie to get negative points in the Qtr to progress.
Well played!!

It basically comes down to Ding and Higgins v Selby (and Ding v Selby in the quarters).Spencer4 wrote:Ta sheepy, you kinda know your fate before it starts, I have 3 v Shady's 4 so will almost certainly lose this round.
Enjoying the emergence of Judd Trump, a true natural around the table. I can see the granite like Dott digging deep in the next session though so hopefully a good test coming up.
