Just watched Ronnie's interview after the Williams match.

"If anyone else asks me that question, I'm going to stop the interview."

He's not in the best frame of mind to take the title, and not a very happy bunny. He's probably in the same frame of mind as when he just walked out against Stephen Hendry a few years ago mid-match and just conceded.

Wish I hadn't picked him now.

3 through. Should ensure top half respectability. If Gould hadn't blown it I'd be laughing.....

Selby and ROS :?

Effing Ebdon, Effing Higgins

Tossed the mental coin between Dott and Ebdon, as I wanted someone I didn't like.......

And the question was a very innocuous "are you your harshest critic?".

A Selby-Murphy final -to be won by the Jester from Leicester- please.

I hope you are wrong as that would mean my 3 remaining Essex Boys all losing!

Pincher is the exact middleman in the overall table (84th of 167)
20 FISOers in the top half
1 FISOer in the bottom half.

We know our snooker!

(OK, we know how to play fantasy games...)

I hope so. My 3 remaining players are Allen, Robertson and Selby. Gutted Higgins failed to beat a 52 year-old has-been, otherwise I'd be in with a great chance. I can no longer win as bluenose has the same players as me (plus Ronnie) and is too far in front, but I can still finish in a Champions League spot ;-)

Let's hope so, would mean I had all four semi finalists and this competition in the bag! I fear Mark Allen may lose out to Dott though and who knows which Ronnie will turn up against Selby.

PS Shaggy - Just spotted the name B Baer. His FISO moniker is "The Bear", so he needs to be added to the FISO league if possible. I'll do the 2nd round results later tonight.

I found it easier to just decide to buy all 4 Essex players and see who I could afford with the change.

rats! odds-on allen and murphy both through to the semi's.

hopefully the "other two" (i.e. robertson and winner of o'sullivan/selby) will be the finalists.

Talk about curse it! Allen out and Murphy being pegged back. My dreams of having all 4 semi finalists is over, but at least it makes things more exciting.

QF Results :-

Shaggy365 (2) 58 v 81 Bluenoseyparker (9)
Spencer4 (6) 61 v 31 Colin H (-)

Jules (-) 65 v 56 Knulpuk (7)
Darbyand (4) 45 v 83 Shadyone (-)

Second round points that count, remember and I have taken the scores from the first round away from the second round totals to arrive at the scores above.

Semi Final Draw :-

Bluenoseyparker (9) v Spencer4 (6)
Jules (-) v Shadyone (-)

Points scored in the quarter finals that count.

My smug grim has been erased by pin head Dott

So does that mean I'm through to the final then as Jules has the same 3 players I have, except my bonus player Murphy is already on positive points?! Good game Jules. 8-)

I think we may well meet in the final. From my point of view, I need Murphy to crash out to Carter and O Sullivan to overhaul Selby. If Ronnie doesn't win, I'm toast :|
