Fivelongbones (E Stevenson) v Jester (D King)
Knulpuk (J Clements) v Bluenoseyparker (I Frost)
Bye (14) v GM (G Marsden)
Bye (15) v Surprised (P Thomas)
Bye (16) v Darbyand (?)
Padmole (?) v Murf (J Murfitt)
Spencer4 (J Ravilious) v ToffeeLover (S Cooper)
Dingram (D Ingram) v Shaggy365 (P Whitehead)
The draw will play out as above, so Fivelongbones could play Knulpuk in the next round.
I don't understand how that can happen.......
FLB won't BE in the next round....!!!

You were the last person to enter the league before the deadline closed at 9:00 am this morning (even later than PNE4PREM). You were, however, the 18th FISO member to enter, and so missed out on the FISO Snooker Knockout Cup.The Drog's Ballacks wrote:shaggy said i was the last entrant so i guess pne is in too?

If PNE and Drogs play each other then the winner plays against the 8 losers in 3 groups of 3, top score + best 2nd place make a semi.
Just an idea to keep the interest.

Re: Fantasy 2009 World Snooker Competition - Entries now closed
You might have been the last one in the competition proper but you and PNE were 17th and 18th for the FISO one - which is unfortunate as entries were limited to 16, otherwise the draw wouldn't play out properly. Shaggy365 has confirmed this. Sorry. The Drog's Ballacks wrote:shaggy said i was the last entrant so i guess pne is in too?bluenoseyparker wrote:Final and updated draw :-

I'll do a league table too showing all 18 teams as another aside, so at least the Drog and PNE can see where they end up.
I think the moral of the story is to get the teams in earlier. We only had single figures for a long time, despite Shaggy posting about a month ago (13 March).

Just watched McLeod knocking balls in left , right and centre. OK - It was only 3 and it took 3 1/2 hours but Murf should be worried - very worried!!
Do we get to see who our opponents picked?

I've got 3 donkeys in my team and the top 2 seeds. Not expecting high scores early doors so you'll probably beat me in the cup before I steam through to take the league title.padmole wrote:Just watched McLeod knocking balls in left , right and centre. You will get to see all the entries when I put out the league table at the end of each day's play.padmole wrote:Do we get to see who our opponents picked?
Having said that, there's only one match completed today, so I might not bother to put up the table at the end of Ronnie's match, since only 2 people will have any points.
TBH it depends if I can be bothered after MOTD tonight.

Re: Fantasy 2009 World Snooker Competition - Entries now closed
I've decided I'll leave doing the league table tonight.
However, just in case I get accused of cheating, and because I've seen everyone's entry, here is mine.
2 Andrew Higginson
11 John Higgins
18 Martin Gould
24 Ronnie O'Sullivan
28 Stephen Hendry
Total cost £1,769
I'd hate to think that people would suspect that I've fiddled my entry when I win the whole thing.
(Also, you get to see what the winning entry is, before it's all over )

Re: Fantasy 2009 World Snooker Competition - Entries now closed
My players, totalling 1,797:
24 Ronnie O'Sullivan 663
1 Ali Carter 554
8 Jamie Cope 319
25 Rory McLeod 161
18 Martin Gould 100
Have just realised who McLeod is, having watched him struggle against Ronnie previously - can't see him getting too far!! Banking on a Ronnie v Carter final, and hopefully a bit of progress through his quarter by Cope.

Now updated for today's results. 5 matches played so far, but no-one has lost all their players yet. A few have lost 3, and they won't be winning the competition.

Greene - Who is he anyway?
Dott - got him because he is so dull, and makes his games less tedious.
Fu - Good to watch etc....
Ebdon See Dott.
Higgins Could win it, couldn't he?
Edt: Looking like a for Ebdon, too.

I fear Mr Dingram may beat me in the FISO Cup. A 15 point deficit is probablky too much to try and pull back.
Bl**dy competition.

So if he wins 10-4 that is a score of 16 (=(2*10)-4)
