DOUBLE EDIT:

Do you think there's much call for a Fantasy bobsleigh? To the best of my knowledge, it always seems to be Switzerland 1, followed by Switzerland 2, and then usually Germany 1. I suppose if I could find out all the countries team members, and then find out who was in each bob, then I could do it.

All seems like a bit too much effort to me.

What about fantasy luge or even fantasy skeleton ?

Seems like a nice little set up Shaggy and I'll be registering a team.

I suppose I could try do some year-long competition that involves every sport going. Say, 1 football team from each league, 1 county cricket team, 1 tennis player, 1 rugby union team, 1 rugby league team and so on. Might be a bit awkward working out a scoring system though.

(Better stop there before I think about it too much) :)

I suppose I ought to drag this back to the snooker.

I still haven't done my entry. I can't decide which Ronnie O'Sullivan will turn up. He'll either be brilliant and win it, or he just won't be bothered. For the purpose of setting values for the players, I've had to assume that he'll actually want to win it, but I'm not sure what the reality will be.

Comments anyone?

If Ronnie's head is right, then he will win. But no one will know his frame of mind, not even himself probably. I think you've priced him right as on his day, he is simply awesome. He must start favourite.

I must admit it's fairly difficult to pick 6 decent players so that must bode well in terms of your values. There also seems to be a new wave of players from the Far East, some I've never heard of.

At least it looks like it's set at about the right level. It's hard to judge whether it's too easy, or downright impossible to get an entry.

I've got an entry in. Decent pricing levels - I was 9 short on my first attempt, which was really annoying!

Finally got round to doing my entry. I'm not going to win, as there are people out there that know a lot more about snooker than myself, but I'm hopeful of finishing above Jnr who picked his entry with a pin.

Just click here. There is a rules page & a player values page. Just follow the rules, choose the players that you think will do well and enter by sending me an email. If you're not happy about sending me an email, you can enter by PM, but you do need to enter by midnight, Friday 18th as the tournament starts the next day.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. You do realise, of course, that my entry could magically change as the competition moves on & I lose all my players. All of a sudden, I will move from near the bottom of the league table to the top without any matches taking place. That's the perk of running the competition.

(Please don't anybody take a note of my entry at the start of the competition, or I won't be able to do this!! )

Only kidding of course. There are far too many people playing this for me to be able to get away with it.

Don't need to cheat to win. I'm confident of being able to win with my own lucky pin. 8-)
