... is coming to a web-site near you soon. The first qualifying rounds kicked off today & are scheduled to finish on Wednesday 13th April. The tournament proper kicks off in Sheffield on Saturday 16th April, so once again I will have only 2 days to work out player values, set up a web-site and get as many entries as I can.

Well, the final qualifiers have taken place, and the web-site is up & running. I believe the draw takes place Thursday morning at 10:00.

Usual FISO rules apply. All entries to be received before it starts on Saturday morning. Entry by email or pm. Don't overspend, and good luck everyone.

That may be so, but everyone has the same choice of players. The rankings were taken from the current world rankings (as good a place as any), and last year there weren't many people picked Mr Bingham to win it.

The draw has a sense of humour, producing Gilbert-O'Sullivan...

You do realise that Jimmy was knocked out very early on in the qualifiers.

Anyway, at the current rate of entries, should just about clear 100 before it kicks off tomorrow morning.

One other thing I have to report is that so far this year, every FISO member has managed to put in a valid entry. Or put another way, they can count to 5 and add some numbers up on a calculator.

Was hoping that Carter would run away with it!

I'll be interested to see the number of Carters (and Dings) when Shaggy posts the line-ups. I'm going for >50% ownership of each.
