I never hit the dizzy heights of weeks 1 and 2 again but still. Sigurdarson accidently turned out to be a good "set and forget" captain, only scored 5 points fewer than Bendtner over the season.
Maybe I'd be dangerous If I put effort in all season next time

The season kicks off 10th March so I guess we will see the site open up for team selection a couple of weeks before hand. Preseason games are also coming up and worth watching.

The Eliteserien season will kick off on the 10th March and Bendtner took a week off from preseason games so far with knee and hip issues.
RBK start off away against Sarpsborg but will still be a good starting point to build a team around.
I am looking at starting with 3 Rosenborg to kick the season off they did well in some of the preseason matches so far and can score without Bendtner.
Hedenstad, Adegbenro and Helland will go into my squad subject to budget of course, and I will run without Bendtner for the first few games. Soderlund will be another RBK forward to watch. They have 2 warm up games and then the Champions final before the season starts.
Sarpsborg lost to Brann in a recent warm up match but they play again on the 25th against Stromsgodset so that could give more of an indication on their line up and form.
Looking forward to team selection the fantasy site should open in a few days time I hope.
Off to have a look at some of the other teams and fixtures.

I think this is the best I can do, you can get a better balance without Bendtner but it's not worth the risk that he hauls.

^^ I see you have the same problem as me. Most of your team are playing away GW1. Not that it is an issue in eliteserien.
Just fielding any team GW1 and reacting to player form and fixtures will get a decent OR.
Last season I played the first WC for GW2 and took few hits to keep up with the game. This season I will take time to workout the prime players and see how they perform up to the international break. The very expensive Helland and Bendtner can wait until then.
Last season team value was not an issue as we made money weekly and by the end of the season we had a huge budget to play with.
I am spending more on GK than I would in FPL but that budget will get spent on the prime forwards by GW4

How is everyone fixed up? Stabaek have their GW2 game postponed until 3 or 4 so I've brought in Hussain and Ruud.

Just 6 in the league, probably says something about how many people in the league last season weren't really members.

Not fixed up yet and have no time due to work but committed now and have a team ready ish.
Check out my Eliteserien RMT for players, I have not changed them from that yet.
WC after transfer window closes, international break is over and dgw and then play the season will do me.

Out for six weeks apparently, think Niemi said so. I've replaced with Asen for Tromso mid block with Gamst, not altogether convinced but the rumour is that Aursen might be dropped for new signing does Molde, it's a nightmare all-round really.

53 (-4) in the end with no shows from Jradi and Haakenstad, so had Kitolano (2) and Aasbak (2) off the bench. Mortsensen and (c) Ohi along with the Haugesund double up at the back doing well.

I have not got my head around the Eliteserien yet. but that will change. I have not watched a game of football for three weeks now due to work. That is EPL and Eliteserien.

47 (-4) No shows Jradi and Haakenstad the same as TBL ^
Transfers in for a hit this week to cover injury were Jradi's no show and Tollas with a yellow and goals against so not great.

Minor double game week coming up with the better double game week in GW6. I am very tired so not playing any chips this week and rolling transfers. Not because I am happy with the team just hoping to not loose any ( much) ground and catch up latter when i have more information.

44 points this week. Managed to lose again in the H2H league to extend my awful run of form. Rismark, Rashani and Aasmundsen the pick of the bunch for me.

GW16 ended with an average score of 35 points.
Another defeat in the H2H league also sadly.
Captained Bendtner who blanked, and would have been better off captaining 'any' of my midfielders (Rashani, Akintola, Zachariassen & Aasmundsen) who all managed something! Unbelievable!
Skalevik with 7 points as first sub on my bench hurts also.
It is clear to see where the problems are, with 6 points from 5 defenders and the GK..

Got 18 points on the bench though
