On Sky News Kelvin McKenzie, whilst chortling about today's Sun Front page, reckoned it was open season and the count would reach 40.
I have no reason to disbelieve Collymore's autobiography. He wasn't sued. Therefore I wouldn't presume to draw a distinction between Rachel Uchitel and Kirsty Gallacher on your grubby/tidy spectrum,el pap.

For the idiot here (me). Colly plus Kirsty and another man or woman?

Is the chocolate fingers reference literal i.e the biscuit things covered in chocolate ot literal ie refering to real fingers being brown from substances from an orifice?

That's a cracker,Dick aRoma.It's the way you type 'em.

Another bad day on Planet Woods.
The injunction he has obtained in the UK relates specifically to pictures,as far as I can make out.It seems Playgirl has pictures of someone who may or may not be Woods on the job.(The injunction is not an admission that such pictures exist).
And The New York Post has found a high-class madame who claims Woods was a client for her 5-figure escorts.

I'm fascinated by some of the details in the interviews with Tiger's alleged harem.
-One claims he watched baseball and sipped ice-cold Bailey's between sessions.

-Another says his text name was Mr Brightside.

Could Eldrick really be into Baileys and The Killers?
You couldn't invent it.

All news agencies are banned from saying what they are banned from saying.

Hence a mod is breaking the law........

Not at all. Surely, nothing is "banned" by law, or injunction as yet, from being printed on this topic; news agencies are self censoring, for fear of being sued. There's no government banning order on such affairs, unlike there would be on news of weapons of mass destruction being found for example, or otherwise. The specific injunction mentioned earlier refers to pictures, and any other specific news items would each require another injunction (unless a legal expert would like to suggest otherwise - but i think that's the case in this country).

However, money talks, and there is a big difference between american and british interpretations of privacy laws at the moment (which may change soon depending on forthcoming court cases and/or changes of government) so at the moment the standard and others are reluctant to name any names. Which all seems a bit irrelevant to anyone bothered to do a quick bit of snooping around with your choice of interweb search engine, as the name mentioned earlier on this thread will pop up in connection with mr. woods in news and gossip from around 2004.

Horse, stable door, bolted etc etc.

The BBC (not murf or notmurf) wrote:The BBC's report on the injunction on Friday said only this:

"Lawyers for US golfer Tiger Woods have obtained a UK injunction preventing certain information purportedly about him being published.

"The order was granted by a judge at the High Court in London, and concerns alleged information which cannot be disclosed for legal reasons."

In short, we can't publish certain things about the appropriately named golfer, but more entertainingly we can't tell you what kind of thing we're not allowed to publish.

Reminds me of this:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree ... njunctions" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And never mind super-injunctions – are there other kinds of injunction we don't know about? If you slap a super-injunction on top of another super-injunction, do you get a "hyper-injunction" that makes it illegal to even think about protesting?

Yes, very reminiscent of the Andrew Marr fiasco, where until Private Eye stuck 2 fingers up and won the day, the media were even barred from reporting the existence of the injunction.

No surprise to learn that Justice Eady is the man responsible for the Woods injunction. He is a serial offender for libel tourists in the UK. His track record is unbelievable.

I think R5 were not allowed to say it, on Fighting Talk.

Now where is Matthew Wright when we need him?

More understandable now though. Before it was just the "moral outrage" but now it's the fact that he won't be there to represent their product for 'the foreseeable future'.
