R.I.P Alan Holdsworth

Perhaps not the best known guitarist but certainly one of the best and one of my all time favourites. Well worth watching on youtube if you can find him. A very sad loss indeed.

Allan Holdsworth played guitar on one of my favourite albums from the late Seventies - Bill Bruford's Feels Good to Me. Your link says he also played with Gong, but Steve Hillage was Gong's guitarist, not Holdsworth, as far as I can remember.

Holdsworth played trippy, spaced-out jazz guitar that sounded amazing if you were stoned. (Or so they tell me )
