No takers.....
Free entry to a sold out gig - thought people would be fighting over it?!!
It's gonna be a great night, just wish I lived closer.
Followed by Tears for Fears in Delamere Forest on 21st June. Middle-aged men trying to recapture their youth.....playing to middle aged men trying to recapture their youth. I can't wait.
Ha! yes. Still good though. At the Peter Hook gig a month or so back if you were a middle aged slightly balding bloke on the run from the law all you needed to do to hide was go into Rock City with jeans and a black t shirt on. Would be like trying to find a specific grain of sand on a beach
Would bite your hand off to get out of an FM or Quireboys gig. Great venue though.
It was extraordinary.

And very good it was too. Pretty forgettable support act (The Big Moon). Played most of the new album I think, but the rest were mainly Doolittle, Come on Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa songs plus maybe 1 each from the other albums.
You don't say!
Now you're talking. That should be quite an emotional experience, given what he'll be singing about.

The gig earlier this year was him on his own in conversation with the audience. You could ask questions and he was very open about grief and Arthur’s death.Billy Whiz wrote: ↑28 Dec 2019, 19:13You don't say!
