More money than sense. Should be teaching their kids the value of money not spoiling them to try and buy their love ;)

I didn't. I have an iphone 7 (I think its a 7) but I just don't see the value in upgrading whilst the really shit battery I have is still just about usable.

I'm pretty sure when the time comes to upgrade, I will move away from Apple despite having been with them for many years. I guess there's only so much bullshit I can put up with. We all have our limits. :|

I had to buy a new phone at the end of last year and our family is totally onboard with the "apple ecosystem" message - we have wall-to-wall Macs, iPads, iPhones, etc.

However even I couldn't see the point in forking out that much money for the iPhone X - I decided to go for the old 6s model, so not even a 7 or an 8. It's the model I'd been using in work and which I loved, it was £100 cheaper than anything else... and less than half the price of the iPhone X

I've just supposedly upgraded my Samsung by 5 generations and honestly can't say much positive about the change. The screen to the edge is good (my 8+'s screen is bigger than my Note 3's was but actual phone is narrower) but the curved edges are stupid. In fact I'm scared stiff of dropping the slippery thing til my rubber case arrives. They may look sleek and modern but are totally impractical for an active life.

Still haven't figured out how to turn off the auto correct on Tapatalk so apologies for any apparent typos....
