I have no clue what the overnight leader has done to his team. With Aguero, Kane,
Ighalo and Alli, there's no way he should be scoring 53. Maybe he benched Alli and Ighalo

No real decisions for tomorrow. Ozil, Monreal, Lukaku and Ayew will come in for Colo (1), Rooney (2), Smalling (3) and Delaney (3). Pedro will stay benched in favour of KDB's 4

That's odd! Maybe he captained KDB or Mahrez?

I've got a couple of decisions. 1) Should I bring Lukaku in for Kane (6). Scoring is different to FPL but they have Lukaku on 5.3 points this week.

2) I'll bring Ayew in for Payet' but should I risk Sanchez for KDB's 4 points? I'm thinking no as he's almost 100% to be on the bench and get 20-30 minutes at most.

I had an average day, robbed of Darmian's CS points by him coming off after 59 mins. This happens so frequently with him that I may need to get rid. I'm bringing in 6 tomorrow including Lukaku for Kane's 6, there's a high upside without a ton of risk.

Dino, I'd hold onto KDBs 4 points because as you say Sanchez is likely to be on the bench.

Was cruelly robbed of Darmian's extra 5 points as well, but otherwise a good week with Aguero(c) - 81 (91)

Player(s) out Players(s) in
Payet, Dier, De Bruyne, Darmian Azpilicueta, Barkley, Koscielny, Sigurdsson

Burned 10 points but should break even at least..

1) it's a question a lot of teams will have. I would switch but then I said that last week with Ighalo

2) I would say not.

I've rolled the dice. He's my captain in FPL so here's hoping it's not only the correct decision but also the correct results orientated decision by 3.15 too.

Christ, it wasn't even worth swapping Rooney out for Lukaku. Sanchez on the bench makes it look like KDB's 4 is the better bet but who can tell?

Ayew's goal and assist keeps me close to the top of the table. Monreal (Ozil) and Bellerin OG (after Monreal is subbed) would do nicely.

Benching Alli, Kane and Ayew must leave him crying just now but he's back on top. I cut his lead to 9 though....which was basically playing Rooney/Lukaku over Ighalo.

Got a couple of benching decisions for this GW that I'd appreciate some input on:

1) Need to leave out one of: Bellerin (SOU), Evans (SWA) or Williams (wba).

2) Need to leave out one of: Ayew (wba), Alli (nor) or Austin (ars)

Currently leaving out Austin and Williams but the defensive one in particular is a puzzler.

1. Williams
2. Austin

I need to pick a sixth striker. At the moment my shortlist has around 15 names on it.

+1 to both of those benching decisions.

I'm really disorganised. It's my busy time at work and just haven't had the time I wanted to think about this. The good news is that I feel like planning for the double gameweeks probably isn't all that necessary, with most teams probably getting one at some point. And even those that don't will be useful for the weeks where others have blanks. I think just getting a balanced squad without too many players all from same team, and good use of the loan system, is probably the way to navigate these.

I think that my Aguero decision has been made easy by the KDB injury - I'm definitely bringing him in as my City captain option. I'll probably go for at least one punty striker, Afobe maybe. But I think there will be a lot of 'feel' picks for me compared to the careful analysis I did at the start of the season, which wasn't what I had in mind, but oh well, at least it'll be kind of fun :)

Thanks for the replies, appreciate it.

I made my six remaining transfers earlier today, definitely made a couple of feel plays. Would've liked to have made a couple of changes in defence but decided to use my final transfer to get a third goalkeeper in, one who complimented my two incumbents for MD1/MD2 purposes

De Bruyne to Oscar was probably the biggest punt I took given I had 8.5m to fill that slot. But I have Sanchez and decided I didn't want to use that slot to get Ozil in.

I also got Coutinho in ahead of Firmino as the Liverpool midfield option and went for Austin above of Vardy. Whilst the KDB injury meant I hung onto Ayew.

Full squad pictured below.

Initially I thought I'd probably spent more on midfielders than most would - I think the points scoring slightly favours the creative mids in this game - but looking it I've only got one premium, I've just got no bench fodder.

Would welcome any constructive criticism, My goal is to break the top 50 this season and finish runner-up to Silkworm in the various leagues we're both in. Currently 193 overall and 49 points off the top 50.

Great squad Dino! I like your punts, and there really aren't any dead weights across the board. You should have a range of options to choose from most game weeks, toughest is going to be deciding who to leave out.

I need help with my final 2 transfers as I just can't decide. Currently have De Bruyne and Coutinho. I think my def/midfield could really use a Chelsea option as their fixtures have good balance with the rest of my squad. My gut says Fabregas as he's starting to look up for it recently and is playing as a #10, and then Oscar's hat trick at the weekend made things interesting.

Do I get Fabregas or Oscar?
Do I switch Coutinho to Firminho, or leave as is and upgrade one of my 4.5 defenders to Bellerin/Zouma?

Dino, your squad is fine. Annoyed at Oscar's hat trick at the weekend as he's been on my radar for a while.

Skip, I'd go Oscar over Fabregas simply because Fab's career stats are much worse in the second half on the season. In saying that, his first half of the season stats couldn't be much worse.

Silkworm, I agree with you about the DGWers particularly given the FA cup 5th round draw but a short GW30 is worth planning for IMO.

Good luck all

I'm going to tinker with my keepers to add in Hart.
I have half a midfield to sort out but limited budget. Silva should replace KDB and Oscar for Pedro but still have Sinclair and Anya to replace with budget options.
As Man U didn't buy a striker I'm considering Rooney to Martial.

The final striker option is now down to Adebayor, Afobe, Paloschi, Doumbia, Naismith, N'Doye, Austin, Vardy and Emenike....

Doumbia is Newcastle's new striker.
Iheanacho is a bit punty but will pay off and cover for the inevitable Aguero injury.

That's my main thinking, if Aguero gets injured he's great coverage.

Went for a couple of drinks after work, got back to my computer thinking I had loads of time, looked at clock and it was 18:34. So fair to say my last 8 transfers were a little rushed, but this is what I ended up with:

Attacker benching decisions were so tough tonight with our nice fresh squads with no injuries. I benched Ayew, Mahrez and Afobe.

Mares and Alli benched for me along with Surman. I liked this game more whenI had half a dozen guys out injured.
My 3 strikers will stay on the bench for tomorrow as well :D

Just about got away with Alli benched. All but 3 players got less than 6 so my 3 subs for tomorrow are straightforward enough.

Aguero's booking has given me a sleepless night though. Swap for Lukaku(c) or not?

I have the exact same dilemma. My other two strikers got braces.

Lowest scorer in my front 8 was Sánchez on 4 so he probably comes out got Barkley. Wijnaldum in for Payet's 5?

An unusual problem for me for tomorrow - scored 96 points tonight - not sure who/if/whether to make any subs with 5 'likely' players on the bench.... crazy.

Similar position. Hit the ton last night (101pts) and I can't see a smart change at all so going to stick with it.

Same here - Lukaku for Aguero(C), could be worth a gamble. The only other possible I have is the 5 points Payet got - swap for BarKlay .... or will the new Newcastle put in a good performance and spoil the party .... that's why we love the game I guess :)

Got 77 last night (not picking Vardy seems insane now). Lukaku(c) home to Newcastle seems worthwhile, and so does Oscar in for Payet's 5. Bringing in Barkley or Ivanovic for a 6 pointer is where I draw the line for now.
