Question About Changing Your Captain

Can anyone confirm that I've understood this correctly (or otherwise)?

If my captain is Sterling, but after MD1 I decide I want to change my captain to Diego Costa, who is in my starting eleven and plays on MD2, then I can do that, and Costa's points will be doubled?

Yes I believe so though I haven't tried it yet as I always insist on 11 playing on a Saturday. If they are in your starting XI and haven't played on the next MD, then you can make them captain but you would obviously lose Sterling's captain points. Of course if they are not in your starting xi and benched you can also bring them on and captain them if their match-day hasn't started yet.

Not when you've already picked your 25 man squad...

Getting 11 on a Saturday and then 7 on the other two match days was one of my priorities (rather than just picking all the best players), but tried to make sure it was a total of 18 decent shouts of points each week rather than just plugging gaps, if you see what I mean. So imo it is a decent strategy, though there may come the odd week where I have too many good players on a Sunday/Monday I have to sacrifice the odd one on a Sat, though I don't believe I've set my squad out that way. The plan is in place, I have to follow it as best I can within reason. (which is I think the obvious point you were making)
