I may well be safe in 2nd

Very close for 3rd and 3rd from bottom. Bit like the Premiership.

I can see you all cowering in fear as I unleashed my secret weapon.

My team is limping over the line with just one striker who may be dropped anyway.

1 big day to go...

Top 2 surely/hopefully settled despite the high scoring 3-way battle for 3rd. lucky7s and woolster still half-heartedly battling for that final top half spot. saint asleep in a safe 8th. High scoring battle for 9th looks to be secure in BFM's hands but is a 25pt gap really enough to prevent a squeaky bum? The Ledge top scores with a 39 which is coincidentally the number of weeks late he is in having a good go at this pointscoring malarkey.

Dropping Carzola for the 3 for 0 and not bringing him back in has probably cost me my chance of a top 100 finish!

Congratulations to Neath boy winning his second PL title in a row and by an impressive 70 points too, obliterating the field and finishing in a commendable 251st too. Murf and Mystery make up the podium positions. The Ledge's inevitable relegation sees him joined by Mark1886 and Spencer4 who return back to the NPC, BFM managed to stay up whilst still having loads of transfers left an egg first haha. And finally The Woolster got soundly beaten by his doubles partner. 8-)

Hope you enjoyed the season and I look forward to doing battle again in 2013/14.

Final Table

1 Ian Herbert neath eggsperts 1938 44 125 251 8-)

Well played Neath Boy, a quality score and a very good winning margin considering we all start with the same 'not to our taste'/poor team.

Not really sure how I got second as I thought I mostly played it badly. Moving all my Eggs into the Everton defence when they had an easy run seemed to have backfired as they failed to keep CS after CS but then they finally kept a few when the games looked harder and my team somehow rose to second and finally settled there.

I always seem to be thereabouts but it really is about time I won another Eggcup. Next season....

Wasn't the world's most exciting battle with Neath Boy taking the lead in week 16 and never losing it. After 3 tied after 1 week, Lucky7s moved up to hold it from weeks 2 to 4 then saint held the lead from week 5 to week 15 so after it had settled down in mid September we only had 1 change of leader!

Mind you in that time I did manage to drop from 2nd to 7th, get back to 2nd then down again to 8th (most of weeks 24 to 29) before rising again to 2nd for the last 5 weeks.

(all found from 'my graph' page)

At one stage I looked threatening but I always said I'd come up short. In most of my teams I made bad decisions particularly focusing on not having Suarez and Bale and holding RVP. Happy with third but ultimately it's not as good as last season. The next two months of FF abstinence will be hard
