I got all excited then
What with this shambles, and getting the MU Block I could do with some good TFF News.

Is it featuring in the paper like Hansen's did?happyhoppy wrote:Still no changes....
Would be good to show a tweaked team in wednesday's paper to help promote interest. With the BOGOF offer.

Curses! So midnight passes and Alan's made no changes I hope the website freezes for him on Saturday and like us, he is stuck with a team packed with crocs, assuming the games go ahead that is.
OK will be a challenge making the best of a bad lot, may as well get to it.

Re: Alan Smith Team Watch
This will be posted on every Egg league thread.
As we have a number of new players I thought I would re-iterate the following:-
The Smith team is now FROZEN. Any changes he makes now will not count.
You now have until Midnight Friday 12th to make at least 1 and not more than 2 changes to Smith's team. It would be helpful if you could post your changes as soon as possible so chairman have ample time to check teams after the deadline has passed.

Re: Alan Smith Team Watch
Serious question HH,
There will be an announcement after 4pm today whether this weekends PL matches will go ahead.
TFF were asked on their facebook page if this happens would the deadline be extended and have replied: "If all Premier League matches are postponed - then yes it will."
So, will the deadline for this comp be extended or stay the same?

Re: Alan Smith Team Watch
Just for you then Spencer :-
Smith Final Frozen team
De Gea
Luiz
Clichy
Vermaelen
Hangeland
Young
Bale
Valencia
Toure
Hernandez
Suarez
Latic -I'm inclined to leave as is but will make a decision after they have made theirs. By leaving as is it gives chairman time to properly check all teams, next year I'm going to bring everything forward so it's not such a last minute rush.

Aren't transfers in TFF frozen from kickoff on Saturday until Tuesday? Giving chairmen 3 days in which they can verify teams?

Re: Alan Smith Team Watch
Our deadline is Midnight Friday so in theory people could make illegal changes on Saturday before the KO.reds363 wrote:Aren't transfers in TFF frozen from kickoff on Saturday until Tuesday? Giving chairmen 3 days in which they can verify teams?
The reason historically for this deadline is so that chairman had a chance to check team validity before the season starts, it's too late for people to correct their teams once the season starts.
