Following Spurs Cup exit and current dreadful form time to minimise their coverage in my team so gone for Tevez for the run in.

Leaves me with just 1 transfer which looks like being used on Walcott but will wait till next weekend and assess his situation.

Mid table obscurity assured, with Theo out its time to use that final transfer.

transfers: 0 (tinkerman league here I come)
cost: bang on the 50m

Fulham have a shcoking record at Goodison but I have an inkling they may do well today, besides Fulham have 4 games left and I fancy Dempsey to do keep doing well till the very end.

Last transfer made. Thanks for game chaps, and cheers Hogmeister for the updates. I made it to the top half of the table at last, and its been a severe learning curve. My first year playing TFF, and ive made a few big transfer mistakes, and hope to learn for next year.
Same story in the Tiny game, and the FPL/TFF combo but i have really enjoyed it .

Think I forgot to declare my last transfer as well. Brought in Yaya for Walcott.

Now out of transfers and have thoroughly enjoyed my first year of Egg Cup. Looking like being the nearly man this year with a 2nd place finish (hopefully) and a runners up medal in the cup!

Latest update.

Chuck's lead is down from 62 to 40 but, with just two weeks to go, it still looks enough to ensure the top spot. Jag remains in second, while Hotpot moves up to third, overtaking Skiffer.

Latest Update.

Thanks to Toure's masterclass yesterday, Jag has eaten further into Chuck's lead, which now stands at just 27 points. While Chuck remains the clear favourite, the impossible could still yet happen.

With both players out of transfers, Chuck is carrying one injured non-player (Larsson) and also Evans, who must presumably be a doubt for the last game, having not played yesterday. Jag has Baines who will similarly be a serious doubt for next week.

The teams, ignoring Larsson and the non-differentials, are:
Chuck: Hart, Enrique, Evans, Roo, Aguero
Jag: Friedel, Baines, Valencia, Toure, Suarez, Adebayor

Update - just one more day to go, and Jag has reduced Chuck's lead still further. With only six players different, and Aguero up front, Chuck's lead of 22 points still looks enough to see him through.... but if Jag gets something special from Adebayor or Suarez, it could end up being very close indeed.

The dust has settled and I can now confirm that the 2011-12 Champion of The Egg Cup League 3 is...
Chuck Taylor.

Jag put in a terrific effort again this week - he made more inroads into Chuck's lead and cut it back to just 19 points... but he'd left himself too much to do and has to settle for second place.

Meanwhile, it's clear that Chuck is a very worthy winner, having first hit the top at the start of October, and despite Jag overtaking him for a few weeks in November, Chuck has managed to hold Jag and everyone else off for the remainder of the season. Indeed, looking at the final table, only Jag and Hotpot managed to get within 100 points of the lead.

A big congratulations to Chuck and I'll look forward to seeing at least some of you next year, once the promotions, relegations, joiners and leavers across the various Egg Leagues have been assessed. :D

Well played Chuck. Don't think it was ever in doubt but was nice to at least make it look respectable. First season of egg-cupping and thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for the regular updates Hog. A very well run first season as Chairman and I hope you run it again next season.

Coming second and losing in the egg cup final. My ambition for next year has to be getting my hands on some silverware.

Roll on 2012/13!

2012-13 line ups here with provisional rules, note one important rule change, the starting team will be immediately frozen so any change Hansen/Smith etc makes will not count. As everyone is in the same boat no one gets an advantage (with hols etc) and it makes it easier for Chairman to check the validity of teams.
