Adios then. Even more reason to dislike Man U and Mourinho (and Valencia).
Congratulations to Zipnolan on his first Premier title.

Unlucky happyhoppy, but still better than southampton going down and you staying up.
Think most of us have had a poor year this year, have you been premier league since the onset of the game?

Egg Premier League 2017/18
I came in a year after if my memory serves me right. Murf will no doubt recall. Ironically first season I don’t run the Egg competition too.
Been a terrible year FF wise best team around 3k so no complaints.
Must admit to losing a bit of love of FF this year probably down to a poor Saints season too.
Summer off and go again hopefully.

Thanks - definitely a lucky season for me, starting with my punt on Gross in week one.
Sorry to see Hoppy go (in whichever emotional state he's currently occupying); somehow the Premier League won't have the same passion next season.

Can't imagine he won't be looking in from time to time. Bit disappointed I won't be rejoining this league at the first attempt. But of course I have been rubbish..zipnolan wrote:Thanks - definitely a lucky season for me, starting with my punt on Gross in week one.

Cheers and well my passion has been waning for a while hence Mystery taking over the reins this season.zipnolan wrote:Thanks - definitely a lucky season for me, starting with my punt on Gross in week one.

I like to get some dialogue and banter going but at times it does feel like I’m talking to myself.
Just keep Murf away from title 4 chaps.

Re: Egg Premier League 2017/18
Sorry to see you go Hoppy and a painful way for it to happen (Saints stayed up though which is far more important in the scheme of things).
Well done to Des for a remarkable escape and congratulations to Zip on winning the Egg Cup.
Enjoy your summer and see you in early August.

Re: Egg Premier League 2017/18
Yep I’d take Saints staying up over the egg league every time!
New challenge now gaining promotion maybe it will get my mojo back a bit.
You’re my tip to win next season Maldini don’t let me down now. No pressure.

Re: Egg Premier League 2017/18
Not sure when you came in but first 'season' was only a part season that all stemmed from 4(?) of us 'debating' on the best way forward with thelip's team, his first TFF effort IIRC.happyhoppy wrote:I came in a year after if my memory serves me right. A lot (inc HH?) then joined in for season 2 using Hansen's team in the format that essentially remains today.
PS Congratulations zipnolan and those in 2nd-5th.
PPS Anybody dropping out to save uhh???? I won't be that generous, sorry.

Re: Egg Premier League 2017/18
The final scores are below. A top 1000 finish was required then in order for this league to be won. Well played zipnolan.
Zipnolan also won the Golden Boot and slightly surprisingly in the end The Woolster had the best Starting XI team score.
The league will finish 68th in the League of Super Leagues.

Sorry (U)HH - I'll be back again next year, expecting you to bounce straight back - just glad my SL isn't ever as hard to crack as this.
Cheers

Congrats to Zip & to Mystery for exemplary organisation - Sorry I'm so late with this, across my teams I'm so disappointed the way I managed my teams on the run-in from good positions - Try again next year I guess!

Only keen to retain my place. Other than that I’m so meh about FF tbh. Hoping the summer will rekindle my enthusiasm.
