After a prolonged absence on here (yes, I have been sulking at my dismal performance and relegation), and to the usual accompanying comment involving deckchairs and the Titanic, I have made my final transfers today.

Hog Eggs
Courtois 3.8
Keane 3.0 - Yoshida 3.0
Cook 2.2 - Stephens 2.1
Alonso 3.8
Azpilicueta 4.3
Hazard 5.8 - Monreal 4.2
Milner 4.2 - Oxlade-Chamberlain 4.2
Pedro 4.9
Sanchez 6.0
Son 4.6 - Kane 6.8
Costa 6.7

Transfers Left: 0
Value of Team: £49.8m

Reasons for Transfers: Three of these made last weekend - sorry for late declaration, feel free to dock me points  The Ox? Yeah, I know... relatively cheap, extra games (if picked of course) plus a differentiator - desperation, in other words.

Brought in the two Saints defenders today as they have 3 extra games each.

I had Led Zep on in the background and, at the exact time I was making these final transfers, the track that happened to be playing was "When the Levee Breaks", with the hook line of... "going down, going down...

Really screwed up the transfers this year - made even more galling given that Mystery's latest table showed I had the best starting XI of all of us  Oh well, always next year...

I considered an Arsenal defender for Son but as I'm still thinking Costa tomorrow I thought I needed to keep one back.

Latest Update

Hogmeister was top scorer with 75 (a good two weeks as he will find out in the CL  ) sees him make a valiant attempt in closing the gap to safety now 59 from 8th, is the great escape on? Lucky7s long top flight reign looks to be coming to an end as he takes over bottom spot. Murf's poor scores lately sees him plummet into the drop zone too, could the unthinkable occur and the 3x Champion get relegated (Blackburn? ) Looks like 4 are going down too with 4th currently 31 up on 9th, very high standard this season with 9th (and 10th) inside the top 10k (The Saint won 2 years ago in 5681 pos).

Meanwhile in other news I extended my lead a tad to 56 with Jag and Bill in joint 2nd.

Good luck for the run in chaps. Don't

The table ahead of tonight's games, too close to call for relegation with anyone from 2nd down possibly could go down?, I'd like to think I'm safe.
