Re: The Egg Cup Premier League 2014/15
OK, so for those three of us who care about relegation:
- If Woolster can get a point out of Hutton and/or Koscielney, he will finish above Neath Boy and be safe.
- Meanwhile, unless Ozil scores at least two points more than the combination of Mertesacker / Cazorla / Ramsey, I'll finish above Neath Boy.
Neath Boy looks on the face of it favourite to go, but it's in the hands of Ozil, I think.

Re: The Egg Cup Premier League 2014/15
Think you have overlooked the fact I also have Grealish!
To finish above you Grealish and Ozil need to outscore Cazorla, Ramsey and Mertesacker.
To finish above Woolster I need Grealish to be within a point of Koscielny and Hutton.
I am probably still the favourite to go down but not quite as much of one as your analysis Zip!

Absolutely right, of course. Closer than I would like - a lot closer.

Re: The Egg Cup Premier League 2014/15
Think my podium hopes have gone.
Just like all my TFF teams this year I haven't my traditional end of season post tortoise charge. Just never kicked on, always buying yesterday's superstar a day late.
Well played to the top 3 and good luck to those trying to avoid a Hullesque final day.
See 8 of you in August

I was praying for Villa goal.Grealish should have had a penalty! Think we are level on points Woolster but you win by 1 more goal scored?

Devastated to lose my premier league place but I played poorly this year and deserved it! As Schwartzeneger said "I'll be back"!

Re: The Egg Cup Premier League 2014/15
Final Standings
Congratulations to The Saint in a worthy first title (PM me your address) who for sometime has had this in the bag and despite trying to keep me interested in the end comfortably won by 21 points using the transfers in hand well.
Mystery secured the final podium spot at Murf's expense.
2 times winner Neath boy becomes the first shock casualty of the Premier League and will hopefully bounce back stronger after losing out very unluckily by scoring fewer goals, he joins Jester and Spencer4 back in the Championship after a one year stay.
Thanks for playing and see you next season.

Been trying for more years than I care to admit to win one of these! My rather dull 'buy one more Arsenal player than HH' end game strategy just about did the trick. Thanks for organising. See you again next year.
