Updated table below.

I'm still just about holding off Jag - although this week I used my final two transfers, so now have to just sit and watch. 59 points for me this week, one better than Jag (58) who remains in second, 9 points behind. The gap to Woody (45) in third has grown and it's looking like it's either Jag or me for the title. Tenpinterry (62, the second highest score of the week) is now just 3 points behind Woody in the scrap for the remaining promotion place.

Second-bottom Nathan got the highest score of this week with 71, while there's no change in the scrap to avoid the third relegation place, with Nffc still having the dubious honour of holding that position - but remains in close contact with the rest of the pack, 10 points the gap now to Hogweed.

So it's your Bertrand, Hazard, Giroud and 9 points versus my Coleman, Aguero, Coutinho and one transfer. Was going to go down the Giroud route after the next round of games but with your lead I may have to rethink this unless I can overturn that lead over the weekend.....decions, decisions.....

Ouch! A 23-point haul  from Sergio has made the top of the table look very different this morning!

Yeah, Better than I had hoped for and makes the transfer to Giroud for a 5-2 an obvious one this evening but that seems a bit of a defensive move on my part. Not too sure how to play this last one.

May live to regret this but went Ramsey for Sterling in a bid not to be boring with my last sub. Good luck for the run-in Hog!

Oh well, suppose I'd better do the weekly update - somehow I don't feel quite as enthusiastic about it this week!

Jag (51 points, second highest of the week) hits the front at just the right time, fuelled by Aguero's 23  points, and now leads me (29 points) by 13. With his last transfer being used this week (sportingly avoiding the defensive option of Giroud), it's now a case for both of us to sit and watch how the teams perform. The differentials look like this:
Jag - Coleman, Coutinho, Ramsey, Aguero
Me - Bertrand, Sterling, Hazard, Giroud

Meanwhile Woody's challenge has completely evaporated - his 17 points is the lowest of the week and he drops 2 places, being overtaken by Tenpinterry (50) and Bigbaddod (52, the highest of the week).

At the other end of the table, Nffc (25 points) remains in that third relegation position and is now 20 points off safety.

Update ahead of tonight's game.

I claw back 2 points on leader Jag, but he remains 11 clear at the top.

Highest score of the week, strangely, goes to Dude's no-longer-managed team at the bottom... just checked and while it contains players like Dzeko and Nasri, it also has Mane, who got 23 points yesterday!

Looks like Nffc is destined for the third relegation place - his 14 points was the lowest this week, and the gap looks now too much to make up, even with 6 Arsenal players.

Indeed  The gap now down to 10 points, with just one more round of matches and the cup final to come - would still take something spectacular to run it around though.

Just the cup final to come..

Jag (53 points) eases further ahead of me (49) and, with the only remaining differential being Giroud vs Ramsey next week, the bookies have stopped taking bets.

Highest score of the week though was Bigbaddod (56) who remains in a tight scrap with Tenpinterry (53) for the the third promotion place.

No other significant changes, with the three relegation places all now filled.

On the subject of third place, by my reckoning, taking out the players we have in common, it's looking like

Giroud Vs Bellerin, Sanchez and whoever I use my last transfer on to attempt to overturn a 9 point gap, could be a close one :P

Closer than you think as I don't think Giroud will start which, if I'm right, makes Walcott your last transfer (unless you hedge your bets and get Benteke) :(

Thanks HH, yep, congratulations to title-winner Jag - any faint hopes I had of catching you were dashed when Giroud stayed on the subs bench - and to Bigbaddod for clinching the third promotion spot, look forward to seeing you both next year in the Championship :D

There is one remaining piece of business before I sign off for the year -the Tinkerman Trophy, awarded to the idiot who runs out of transfers first

And so, as we've done at this time in each of the last few seasons, I'll ask my able assistant Judy to present the special turtle-shaped Tinkerman Trophy trophy.

This year it goes to, erm, me
