Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
This week's update...
At the top I extend my lead over Boltonboy to 16 points, but the chasing three all get closer this week - Jag (42 this week) is now just 16 behind BB, Woody (43) 10 further back, and TPTerry (50) is 25 off Woody. Boltonboy will be happy that he is the only one in the top half of the table who doesn't have Bertrand - fingers will be hovering over the transfer button for the rest of us
Best score of the week goes to Geoffv with 58, he remains in 10th, but is now only 11 points off 6th, it's all very tight for the scrap to avoid that third relegation spot.

Sorry been a bit lax in the reporting of my many recent transfers. Here are the four I've missed.
Rooney Falcoa
Taylor Hutton
Siggy Cazorla
Costa Giroud
9 left now as I look to push up the table away from the dreaded drop zone

Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
Update and some big swings this week...
I stay on top but (with a pretty rubbish 27 points) only just, as Jag's 49 points see him move up into second place, 10 points off the lead. Long-time leader Boltonboy (22) drops to third, while Woody (44) is the other big winner this week as he moves to within 25 points of the lead - all very close now.
Meanwhile, the highest score of the week goes to Bigbaddod (54) who moves up three places to 6th, while Hogweed (19) goes the other way, dropping three places and into the relegation zone.

Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
Happy Valentine's Day everyone - will it be a day of cup romance, or a Valentine's Day massacre?
Table as it stands after the midweek games and before the cup matches this weekend.
My lead cut further at the top (a certain Spurs striker has been the main cause of that!). Jag now only 7 points behind, and there's now just 21 points covering the top 4. Top score of the week so far (just) goes to Geoffv with 40 points, while the lowest of the week is currently Hogweed on 20.
Lots can change in the next few days though - and with no less than 7 of my players potentially involved in cup matches, I'll be hoping that they a) score heavily and b) the PL sides make it through to the next round. We'll see...

Don't forget that all transfers should be posted on here, prior to the deadline for those transfers. I'm sure he's not the only one, but...

Seems like it's working out after all - 7/10 points (depending on KC), and safely through to the next round! Meanwhile I have to hope that a certain Man U ex-striker, now midfielder, will deliver the goods on MondayJagduracell wrote:although with Ideye scoring his second of the day as I type it looks like I brought in the wrong Baggie!

Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
All very close between the top 4 this week. I retain the lead after 49 points, but now only by 7 from Jag (52). BB remains in third (51), and Woody continues to edge closer (53).
Now just 22 points covering the top 4 - I have a slight edge in terms of remaining transfers, with 9 left. Jag has 7, Woody 5 and (I think - some missing postings here ) BB 4. However with 5 of my 7 players involved in the cup last week going out it's probably time to start tinkering again!
Highest score of the week goes to Bigbaddod (63) who moves up to 5th, lowest to Nathan (31) in 11th.

Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
Bit late this week, sorry. Here's the update going into this afternoon's games...
Good week for me - 53 points, including the predictable big haul from Aguero and a perhaps less predictable 7 points from Moses
I extend my lead to 17 over Jag (43), while BB (39) in third and Woody (40) in fourth also lose a little ground.
Highest score of the week though was Hogweed with 55, he moves above nffc in the scrap to avoid the third relegation place. Lowest of the week was Tenpinterry (32), who isn't completely clear of that same relegation scrap - just 27 points cover positions 5-10.

Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
So... a good week for Jag and I at the top - Jag's 52 points is the best of the bunch, with my 49 points second best.
I remain in front, leading Jag by 14. Woody now 43 points off the lead in third, while BB drops to fourth.
Lowest score of the week was backmarker Dude - his unmanaged team limped in with 23.

Re: The Egg Cup League 1 2014/15
Partway through this week, and all still pretty close at the top, with Woody continuing to make up ground on Jag and I.
Meanwhile my comment about Tenpinterry being dragged into the relegation dogfight now seems a bit premature - his 59 points is the best of the week so far, he's up to 5th and is now looking up rather than down.
Currently the lowest of the week is nffc, who is definitely in that relegation dogfight, having dropped to 10th place.
