Late this week, and in a rush, so..

Robot remains under pressure at the top, and is out of transfers (thereby winning the Tinkerman award of course, more on that later  ), so this one could go to the wire.

Best score of the week was Dude and, with a lot of transfers still to play with, he looks safe and should continue to rise up through the ranks.

Week 31

Good battle here at the top between Robot and Bill Ferny with Grinny not far off and Hotpot hoping to make a late charge. Relegation places appear to be between the current bottom 5 with Wilbert looking gone.

And we have a new leader! After many weeks of Robot's lead being steadily but surely reduced, Bill Ferny finally overhauled him at the weekend.

With Paulgrinny right up there too, it looks now to be a three horse race.. although Robot being out of transfers probably means he is now out of it. He needs two things to happen - Aguero to come back, and SAS to stop scoring.

Probably a 1 day wonder though :!: a good season end from Dzeko might just keep me in the top 3 which wont be a bad result after running out of transfers so early and making the numpty desision to to go Suarez  Aguero with my last transfer

You certainly are PaulG! :D

Big scores this week of course with the extra games, and we seem to have ended up in three distinct groups - the top 3 are well clear and there's little between them, then there's the half a dozen of us in the middle, and then a similar story at the bottom - the bottom 3 are now some way back, with nothing much between them.

Despite being out of transfers, Robot (83 points) is still leading - now being followed by Paulgrinny (also 83) in second, while BillFerny (56, the second lowest of the week) loses ground. Still very close between those three.

In the "mid-table mediocrity" group it was a good week for Spartak, with the Dude getting the week's highest score, followed by me on 88. Both of us seemed to have recovered from our earlier flirtation with the relegation zone.

There's then a big 46-point gap from Alchemist (like Robot, he is also out of transfers) in 9th to the relegation zones. Nathan (49) got the lowest score of the week and, with Wilbert (82) making up some ground, there's now little between those bottom 3.

Here's the updated table going into this afternoon's games.

Robot still clings on to top spot, but Paulgrinny has closed to within just 4 points. With no transfers left, Robot will be very pleased to see a certain Aguero return to action tomorrow, and there will be a lot riding on tomorrow's match, with Robot having 8 Liverpool and City players, and PG going one better with 9! Key differential probably the strikers - Robot with Aguero and Dzeko, PG with SAS.

Bad week for BillFerny, who drops back to 27 off the lead, He will also be glad to see Aguero (one of just two City players in his team) back in play.

Elsewhere, top score of the week (49) goes to Alchemist, which is another example of how being out of transfers doesn't necessarily condemn you to a low score. The lowest weekly score (19) was from Hogweed, although he remains in 5th place.

At the bottom a big score (52) from Wilbert (second week running) sees him come off the bottom, past Topspur and new backmarker Nathan247. So Wilbert is now third bottom, but is still 60 points off the rest of the pack.

Certainly did PG, and I would post the standings ahead of today's games if the Telegraph site hadn't developed a weird problem where I can only look at one of my teams and leagues

Anyway - it's PG leading on 1655, Robot on 1642 and Bill F on 1640.

And in other news, I've just used my last two transfers:
Sturridge  Rooney
Toure  Gerrard

As a long time supporter of lower-league teams, Liverpool have been my "other team" for the last 45  years, and so one of the transfers above just had to be made
