You've had so many  I'm referring to your month ban, if you got a day for something else around the time you posted the pie then it'll take longer to find it.
Get your story straight Vid - you were telling us pie gate had a. 15-0 vote

Now you say it was because of a post about betting against Liverpool

You have made no attempt to justify either

If anyone can justify either ban then I'd be the first to apologise and say I did wrong

But that's not the case is it?

A ban for posting a pie and a ban for posting an old thread which suggested value in opposing Liverpool!!!!!

You just can't even begin to defend it can you? :?

You can repeat it all you like

But it doesn't start to justify it does it?

And I note you haven't tried either

Just a friendly reminder that discussing moderator actions on the forum is not allowed and could lead to a ban.

And no, you couldn't make it up :?

tbh I have no knowledge of the gory details, and no great wish to know.

To me its all about the balance of probability. 15 mods unanimously vote to ban you, and you say it's unfair.

Perhaps you should start a grievance thread?

Rechecked, your most recent ban was indeed the month as any further ban would have been deactivation. I've copied here the bulk of the pm you were sent by the moderator that issued the ban, sorry no mention of pies anywhere.

Again, no need to justify and I'm not sure who I'm supposed to be justifying to anyway. You were banned for the stated reasons, you may well have posted a picture of a pie somewhere at around the same time but as you (and now everybody else) can see, that was not the reason why 15 moderators all agreed that you were indeed trolling and deserved a ban for such.

I remember reading that Liverpool betting thread...

I recall thinking at the time it was a bit sad and pathetic, but am surprised to hear it resulted in a ban. :?

Ok stuboy

Can't have the mods being held to account now can we?

So I'll leave the above Mugabesque quote which I think nicely summarises the problem

Just adding a bit more clarity, the pie post was made 3 weeks earlier, you received 4x 24 hour bans between the pie post and the month ban, you received 2x 24 hour bans prior to the pie post, 6x 24 hour bans and 1x one month ban issued to you, for trolling and continuing personal disputes in a 4 week period.

Congratulations, you hold a record that will never be surpassed! We're in the process of changing the system, that many run ins in such a short space of time will result in deactivation.

The moderators are held to account by admin.

Moderators come from diverse backgrounds and represent the forum

No one moderator makes a one month ban without first taking it to vote.

A 15-0 vote shows that a large representation of the forum agreed that the ban was warranted.

You can't always be the victim

When Vid says things like "6 times 24 hour ban" he means one ban for 6 days etc

Wouldn't want him trying to give everyone the wrong impression now would we?

Any chance at all of you justifying the month ban for the Liverpool post Vid? :?

Then justify it!!!

You can't - it would show you up to be inequitable and discriminatory

OK gents. I think that's taken this thread far enough. It's not what it was designed for, and there is a mechanism to follow in the T&Cs or Forum Etiquette posts if you have a problem with a decision.

Locked for now.

Thanks for that MvL. Luckily I've been practising in a secret place. I look forward to winning all your sidegames from now on. :P

I'll be focussing on the FPL zone modding-wise, being, as I am, a leading hermit from a population of cave dwelling ramblers who shall never leave their ancestral subforum. 8-)

With the danger of being too impulsive on my first day of modding, it seems to me that this thread can safely be unlocked now the danger appears to have passed. There may be posters with further questions/the list of mods may require updating. :)

As long as this isn't some kind of convoluted way to get transferred to the Mods 5AS team.
