Newshound
May I politely open for debate....
Don't mean to sound ungrateful and I know this approach is new but I thought it worthwhile to sound out opinion ASAP. Whilst I am very happy to have a hound sniffing out news for me, may I suggest that significantly less news is posted. A dog with a less sensitive nose maybe?
Things like reserve team news just clutter up the threads IMO (unless the story is about a star making a comeback for example) and will undoubtedly mean more important news is missed by the reader if hidden amongst pages of less relevant stuff.

I was just myself looking to see if there was a thread on this. Who is it? I thought at one stage (based on some iffy formatting) that it might be a bot set up to scan team news and post it

City’s new blaze orange third kit can be pre-ordered now for delivery late next month – but don’t delay, as this will be a strictly limited edition.
The new shirt can be reserved now either online or by calling 0870 062 1894, with despatch set for the day it goes on sale in the shops, 27th September.
Pre-orders will be taken up until midnight on 14th September, but as a limited edition purchases will be on a strictly first-come, first served basis.
Adult short-sleeved shirts are priced at £30, and the long-sleeved version is £35 – but Seasoncard holders get their usual 10% discount. Citycard & Accesscard holders get 5% off. Our young fans don’t miss out either, with junior short-sleeved tops priced at £19.

It has to be a bot, its posted betting odds and advertised a text betting company on Boltons section. Still if they win 3-1 @ 10/1 or Gretar Steinsson scores the first goal @ 20/1 i say it stays.

I think newshound does need to curtail his/her activities as half the stories are of no use to the fantasy manager. There needs to be some subjective selection of which stories are news-worthy.

Re: Newshound
I concur with the general consensus around here. There doesn't seem to be any news about who got injured/played well/came back from injury. Rather it's just a straight copy from the individual club's web-site.
I had hoped there would be some useful fantasy news, but it appears to be sadly lacking in that department.

I agree this is a bit rich, considering how anal some people have been over these threads in the past - even to the extent of the creation of 20 duplicate threads (the 'starting 11' ones) just to keep banter and irrelevant comment away.
