Ditto all the above (well most of it! ) Thanks for dealing with what must have been a huge pain in the backside, and a demanding public!

All the best, Pincher

Murf's up to 86 (in a day) is this a record. And I did spot a "Charles Ufarley" registered, can't be, can it?

Anyone who's ever posted on either of the previous two forums will be automatically registered for this one, so I guess he is still there!

Missed the Del boy posts - but glad to be back and raring to go

At least it was over the international break and we didn't have to put up with Sven baiting.

Given the problems with loading picture avatars probably restricts us to the gallery, it's another chance for retro icons.

Thank heavens, Chris and Roger for getting FISO back. :D

If your name was "kiz" you'd only have to log in once. :?

time for a retro icon - this is the nearest i can see to the original icon from, er, back in the day, when fiso was but a mere pup, never quite knew what it was meant to stand for then and still don't now. good to see it back - might be a magic potion, or some hot chilli sauce maybe :D any other retro icons to be recycled out there?

I'm using Firefox and still have to log in twice. I can also log out and then come back later and find I'm still logged in. Only minor nuisances though because it is just so good to be back in at all.

Yeah? Hmm, must be a bug in phpBB then. You can always set it to log you in automatically, but this is no good if the computer is a shared or public one.

I think the bug is something to do with logging you in automatically. I set that up this time and what happened was this:
  • I'd browse to the forum index page and be logged in automatically.
  • I'd click on Latest 24hr and it would display fine.
  • I'd select a topic using the 'go to posts since last login' icon.
  • Instead of the topic I'd get the login page.
  • Then it would go to the beginning of the topic and all the other topics with unread posts would be lost.
Now I've cleared the auto login* it seems to be working fine.

*To do this you need to clear the cookies that the site sets on your computer. In Firefox you go to 'Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies > View Cookies' and delete anything for fantasyfootballuk.co.uk. I hardly ever use IE so I've no idea how to do it in there.

I dont have auto login, and I still have to do it twice, its annoying because by the second time all the little orange new post markers have gone.

Interesting. Was FISO blocked via automatic filters (presumably due to the 'fantasy' content of the main website)? Do let me know if the new forum does get blocked.

The Forum was gone so long I nearly got a life. It gave me the chance to become totally absorbed in the stunningly successful return of NHL hockey. Never has a major sport been improved so much in one fell swoop. All three games I've attended have been wide open, fast and furious. I love it.
It was murder watching the international football matches on per-per-view and not only not having anyone to share a brew and views with, but also not being able to turn to the forum for instant analysis.
I was also despertae for the TFF codeword so I could make changes.
Thanks for persevering and bringing us all back home, even if I seem to have spilled my Avatar along the way. Maybe I can find a picture of the real Pouzar and use it!

Bring back an old post, did we ever find the answer out to this question?
