That doesn't explain the ads I'm seeing for Viagra...

Re: GDPR
I've updated the settings with Google Adsense (who are our 'backfill' ad provider). Let me know if further personalised ads appear (other than those already cached).

Re: GDPR
Had the consent once on login, accepted, and it seems fine to me.

Re: GDPR
For the sidegames I run, I keep a spreadsheet of each entrants FISO name, their first name (so I know to address someone as say Chris rather than Christopher), whether or not they have paid the entry fee, and their team name. I wonder if I now need to put a message on the sidegame T&Cs saying that I will store this information unless anyone objects. Or maybe, I should have been doing this anyway under the Data Protection Act?
Also, is it now out of the question to send a mass PM to people who frequent the FPL forums, inviting them to play in a sidegame? Or was this always frowned upon?
I'm sure I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but I like to think that I'm as law abiding as I possibly can be

Re: GDPR
Whether mass PMs are ok or not I can't comment but it was my intention to create a thread in the main FPL forum to highlight sidegames running in 2018/19 to try and generate interest from FPLers who may/may not know about the sidegame forum. (Would also be a place to get more votes for your cash league thingy).
I'll do something over the w/e.

Re: GDPR
As far as I'm aware, processing of personal data by an individual in the course of a purely personal activity is not covered by the regulation. Also an "enterprise" has to be engaged in a business to be covered by GDPR.jeffmcgow wrote: ↑25 May 2018, 19:53 For the sidegames I run, I keep a spreadsheet of each entrants FISO name, their first name (so I know to address someone as say Chris rather than Christopher), whether or not they have paid the entry fee, and their team name. Re: GDPR
Thanks Admin and RomynPG.
(Off topic reply) I did wonder if I should reference my cash league poll in the main thread, RomynPG, but do appreciate what you are planning.

Re: GDPR
I got the request for the first time this morning. Maybe haven't been on website since it was set up except via tapatalk which doesn't seem to work the same way....

Re: GDPR
(Starting today) I'm getting the "I Accept" pop-up many times - I'm accepting.
Can't pin it down completely but it happens mostly when I refresh a page but also randomly when loading threads. (Happens on desktop and laptop)
