Many thanks Mad Dog, Mav3rick, Robot and MVL for doing this thankless task.

Ah, I said "thanks" so it's not really a thankless task.... erm... start again...

Well done all, it's very good of you to volunteer your time. Your commitment is very much appreciated. :)

Thanks to all moderators, new, retired and ongoing. I often moan that you don't do enough (forum stance rather than individual laziness! ) but without you it would be anarchy.

Seems to me that you've just proved the unsuitability of anyone with that moniker to hold any position whatsoever.

Occasionally moderators can be a pain in the neck, but 99% of the time they do a grand job and deserve our thanks for their unpaid efforts in maintaining Fiso as a pleasant forum.

Mav3rick and I haven't always rubbed along that easily in the past. But on the evidence so far I think he is going to be a great Mod and I congratulate whoever invited him. He has already earned my trust. :)

Not so much. If I had been so impressed I'd have written about them too. But the commendation of one wasn't intended to be a veiled swipe at the others if that's what worries you.

Maybe I should just delete the post and keep my applause to myself.

OK, I think I got it now, MoSe.

Actually I just wanted to tell Mav3rick that I think he's doing a top job so far. Seems you have to be careful even with compliments nowadays. :?

You don't tell a parent which one is your favourite (they both buy your Christmas presents) ;)

On a serious note, if you want to express gratitude, you crack on. There are plenty of critics out there

Thank you for the time and effort you could manage, it's always been voluntary with no set expectations of daily/ weekly/ or even monthly activity, it just came to a point where we had a good number of mods that either hadn't logged in, posted or participated for months and in some cases years, add in a few that had had enough for one reason or another and it was time for a refresh. Most ex-mods are welcome to drop me a pm or email should their circumstances change in the future and believe that they would have the time and inclination to add something to the group again. As you know a great deal of what needs doing never gets seen on the open forum. We all have lives and circumstances change, if anyone doesn't have the time then they don't have the time.
