I have also changed some of the log-in settings. Let me know if this helps at all with having to log in each time.

I didn't have to log in each time but this time i had to!

So did I after the change was made. I suppose that had to be the case if the login protocol was changed.

Also, is it just me or is the quick reply option missing off of some threads?

I though quick reply was off when last post was the posters but not the case.
It is not available on the FISODAS thread.

Yeah, I thought it was sorted. Should have followed my own advice but to be fair it's been on the fixed list so long I forgot about it.

if the solution had been publicly announced, then I must have missed it

Been a while I'm not checking the OP, nor read back in this thread :)

wait, I see it here now and I didn't switch it on
soooo.... it's not something*I* can switch on at my choice, but somthing the mods decide which forums have it and which don't???

admin turned it on but some threads seem to be missing the option. Post on here or PM him and ask for specific threads (hopefully subforums...) to be fixed.

I think it's a really good upgrade. It's a bit of an improvement on a laptop, but massive one on a mobile.

I only have a few minor suggestions:

- I've always thought it odd that the "last unread post" button on a thread is the tiny orange box and the thread title takes you to the first post on the thread. Given you virtually always want to go to the last unread, shouldn't that be what clicking the title does for you, and maybe the yellow box changed to a small "S" (for "start") icon that would allow you to go to the start of the post if you need to.

- Shouldn't the "which page you are on" part appear before the "quick reply" box, as you will want to see the former much more than the latter (and may even miss the former)

- The white space on the laptop irritates me too

- A spellcheck would be great

Great work in general though.

Yes, if anyone notices the 'quick reply' function missing from a forum (or sub-forum) just PM me and I will add it on.

I use Chrome and one of the advantages is that it includes a spell check. I'm sure it's not the only one but if you have a Google account (or even without tbf) I'd highly recommend it. I don't think it's something a forum can provide itself.

Really?

Despites the hard work and tweaks I still couldn't name you one single thing that is better than before! - and there are still dozens of backwards steps.

The website is obviously better than before on a phone but I still prefer Tapatalk so there is zero gain there.

What am I missing????

I normally view via "latest (1 day)" or view new posts and I just generally feel its unreadable. topic titles dont stand out....and then once posted or scrolled to bottom, there's no way to get back to "latest (1 day). I'll hold my hands up and say I'm not one for change generally but it's just a mess I.M.O.

Hi chaps. I looked for this on the list but couldnt see it. FPL CTC is missing some columns on a mobile device compared to a PC. If you could possibly squeeze one more in on a mobile, for me it would be daily NTIs. Thanks

Sorry if this has been addressed already but where have the FPL buttons gone? Can we still access each other's teams if the individual enables their button?

To my mind, the overall quality of posts has decreased around 14% since the upgrade

Lol very accurate.

Did have a thought last night - is it possible to have another post counter alongside total which counts post in the current football season, e.g. from July 1 each year?

This was one of the FISO-specific customisations that was lost with a move to the standard version with the upgrade. admin has said he'll add these back in when the more serious issues have been resolved however you should still be able to see the link in the profile panel on the left.

I agree with hancock's points.

One other thing. On the mobile site anyway, the last post now appears twice in the thread list (once under the title and once in the column on the right) rather than the last post and the topic starter.

IIRC someone asked to be so, as the rightmost column wasn't always (easily) visible on mobiles, and they weren't intrerested in knowing the OP... IIRC as I said, might be wrong

Here is the way I am using tapatalk now I can't access sub forums.

I find the thread I want to view on the main website.

Post some thing irrelevant like 'happy Easter everyone'.

Open tapatalk - it then appears in my 'participated' area and can be accessed and used as required.

You then just need to remember to keep checking the website to find other things that maybe of interest to repeat the process with.

It's not ideal... Looking forward to the fix :)

+1 Totally agree with all these comments, lots of backwards steps for zero gain.

The change is mainly driven by changes to the underlying software.
We're downstream of that and we're working on changes that can be made - if you feel that anything is missing from the opening post on this thread (kindly maintained by DrBunker) then please mention it.
