12 hour fog rule bollocks

Post by Vid » 16 Oct 2012, 12:25

11797609

1v1 on Berlin1961
manual!!!!!!

I deployed first, my opponent deployed 2nd so clearly had seen the map and my visible deployments, so I played my move 10 minutes later.

He's complained to the TO and he intends to replay the game and I'm under threat of being booted if I "break" the rule again

As far as I'm concerned it couldn't have been broken.

I take it your first turn put him in trouble looking at how many territs you took?
If so, he's trying to get off on a technicality i reckon, but i agree with what youwrote on the forum

I'd argue with Serreski about this (the guys a knob by the way but just runs loads of tourneys)

After Krink deployed his initial troops the board would have come alive for him, so all bordering territories that you owned would be shown to him.

The question is whether the 12 hour rule should still be enforced? Haven't read the rules for tourney but of they are not there, argue......and even if they are there, say 12 hr rule only necessary if you are 2nd person to deploy manual troops and first to play after.

He's played, evened it out, possibly even has an advantage.

Says he only had time to drop and go to work and didn't have time to look at the board :?
