Clan FISO -members wanted.
Suggested by Chewie some time back, is this something we're ready for? No real idea just what it entails but I assume it gives us the opportunity to take on groups in the CC world in team play and take their points!
27 known FISO members playing there now, Chewie is already in a clan, no idea about nickchilds, but clearly a decent player, same with Scoot, better to have on your side than against you.
15/16 premium accounts, the rest freemium, several of which don't appear to be active after the first game or two that they've played. So around 20 active members, the requirement is a minimum of 10.
Is this something worth pursuing in the near future? Simple clan requirement, being a FISO member - or is that against the rules?
Not something that I'd be inclined to try to run, had enough on my plate recently, but would happily be part of.
Thoughts?
What do you need for becoming Official :
1. 9 members and 1 leader
2. A name for the clan/group
3. A description
4. Submit the above information Eticket with the group member's names on it.
5. It may take a few days to become offical after that.
______________________________________
Usergroups of 9 or less "Active Scoreboard users (a game every 30 days to appear on the Scoreboard), will be given a deadline to re-energize inactive members or gain new active members, otherwise the Usergroup Forum and possibly the Usergroup itself, may face deletion.
All usergroups must always keep their own private forum active at least every month as part of their maintenance to keep their clan, otherwise the Usergroup itself, may face deletion.

Re: Clans?
I'd be up for it and could possibly run it if needed.
Have been thinking the same thing myself, but was waiting until we all had a bit more experience.
Really need chewie tolet us know exactly what it entails

Re: Clans?
Being in a clan is great fun.
But unfortunately u cant be in two competitive clans at the same time so that rules me out.
If you set up a clan you get ur own forum to converse in plus you get the chance to have clan wars clan cups etc that are great fun.
You have to have at least 1 leader but probably best to have 2 or 3 so things dont become a dictatorship, although being a leader doesnt mean u get all the power there are 3 leaders in my clan (Death By Comity) but all decisions get voted fairly on they are just figureheads.
I'm not a leader but I am war chief I organise our wars so everyone has the chance for doing something for their clan
I'd say go for it.

Re: Clans?
What sort of rankings do typical clans have?
Not overly bothered as I'm now starting to take points off captains and majors with a bit of regularity, still losing to cooks though

You've said that you set these things up, is there a format that allows our freemiums to play an active part without needing more than one of their game slots at a time?

Re: Clan FISO -members wanted.
Having read the thread, you only need 10 active members to remain a clan, although more is obviously better.
Active only being a game a month
It's not a constant commitment either

I'm enjoying playing around with my 'freemium' membership of 4 games a time, but no desire to pay for more yet. Happy to be part of a 'clan' if required?

I've sent off the request with the first 10.

Re: Clan FISO -members wanted.
Just seen Kiz's wall note to me. Sounds interesting, however if the main idea of a clan is to fight other clans, should we have a minimum level you need to be at in order to qualify? I know that makes me sound a bit like a dick, but just want to make sure we're not the whipping boys of the clan world.
