33 puts GregsEggs in the (egg) box seat. For now?

Come on Hull, just one more solitary win required (probably at home against Sunderland...)

Beat Palace and draw with and on the beach Spurs. Simple.

Moist - do you want me to (anti?)curse Newcastle next season by picking them as the Season 8 Blackpool??

Yeah, Spurs to contrive to finish third or fourth in a two-horse race again? Could happen even though they've got the St. Totteringham monkey off their back.

If Hull beat Palace it's a real three-way tussle at the bottom, Big Sam's side have lost momentum at the worst possible time. All the others on the fringe of it pretty much took themselves out of the equation this weekend (Burnley and Watford not quite mathematically so, but think those two can probably relax now...)

I'd vote for Brighton as a first time Premier League entrant (or Huddersfield for the same reason if they win the play-offs) - but Newcastle would be interesting just because there's such a wide range of possibilities I suppose, they could be "best of the rest" or straight back down.

Yep, Brighton (or Huddersfield) are far more 'Blackpool' but Newcastle would be interesting and wind Moist up......

..and still stuck on 34 with just 1 to play. If they get anything out of the game then they fall on an unclaimed space and I'll have to dig out any tie breaks on previous threads. I won't bother though as it ain't gonna happen and thebillfella has it in the bag.

How wrong he was. Yet.... how right he was. Congratulations to thebillfella on being spot on with 34 and so winning the 7th Annual Blackpool Sweepstake.

See you all in late July/early August for the 8th Annusl Blackpool Sweepstake featuring Brighton, Newcastle, Huddersfield or Reading.

Why spoil the anticipation by saying who.....
