Because I share a name with one of the guys from the Jackass group I had a phase of occasionally getting thanked for giving autographs.

I was thinking the same, if ever there was a person not designed to withstand the bile that celebrities get in their responses, it's him.

(tangentially, James Blunt on the other hand is remarkably thick skinned and amusing with a put down.)

Get on getting it trending, that's what.

Foul that saw Neymar off was a foul but not malicious. It was also a result of the ref not punishing the Brazilian assault on Rodriguez. When that happened, he lost control.

Couldn't think of an appropriate place to stick this in football, so here will do :).

a) is there a more Scottish name that that?
b) he played for the U21s at the age of 37 :D

I don't follow Michael Owen (naturally), but I saw this tweet of his yesterday:

Watched my eighth ever film on the flight home. Must have been bored. #HateFilms

Yer wha? He confirmed in later replies that he reckons he's only ever watched 8 films in his entire life. How does that even happen? EIGHT?

The "HateFilms" hashtag puts me in mind of a lad I work with who once said to me "I don't really like any music". I thought it was impossible to not like something..

Anyway, I checked today before posting this and found he'd actually later tweeted a list of the 8 films:

Films I've been forced to watch:
Rocky
Heat
Ghost
Jurassic Park
Cool Runnings
Seabiscuit
Karate Kid
Forest Gump

When 25% of your movie viewing is made up of Rocky and karate Kid, you really have no right to hate films! Someone needs to buy him a copy of The Goonies.

Rocky was great and the Karate Kid was tosh so I genuinely don't understand your POV!

It is a bit blase just to say you hate 'films' but each to their own.....

Can I say 'I hate operas' or 'I hate ballets' or 'I hate boyband music'???

If you were a kid in the 80s like myself, you'd understand!

Yes, nowt wrong with that. But my mate in work just doesn't like music. At all. Which makes him a weirdo.

I used to say I hated operas and had to spend 3 hours at an opera in Kiev whilst I was bursting for a shit and the toilets were shut.
I still hate operas

Music has been around since humans started - I can't accept that anyone doesn't like music! Film bit different a 'recent' invention!

I've been to opera, and my main feeling is indifference :|

It's amazing you can get to his age (33?) and have only watched 8 films?

Not least because of the amount of travelling and sitting in hotels he must of had to do.
