And regarding interviews, i would never go for a job that couldn't accept me for being me. But if i did, it's only a 3/4 sleeve so it's very rarely on show.
Each to their own of course.

Re jobs - it is not necessarily how your boss/job views you but how they think their clients will view you (be that professionals, restaurant customers or little old ladies whose doorbell you might be ringing etc). Such is the way of the world.
Yeah you have a fair point. I appreciate you taking the time to reason with me as to why it's a negative, in your opinion, and not just wading in with abuse!! As a pub landlord it really doesn't have any affect on my job, especially as when i'm in the restaurant i have a long sleeved shirt on. On any given day, the gf will be the only one to see it!!

Noticed this piece of artwork on some chaps leg tonight on the tube.
Not the best quality (the photo, not the tattoo) but I can assure you that is a Stephen Fry tattoo.
I feel a new thread coming on, tattoo winkers?

Tattoos are officially mainstream: David Dimbleby has got one.

But, amusingly, his scorpion has the wrong number of legs

"It should be noted that the 2004 single The Scorpion by the American thrash metal band Megadeth features a scorpion with only six visible legs on its cover, but it is not known whether Mr Dimbleby is a fan of their output."

I am reliably informed that tattoos are almost compulsory on that new channel 4 programme Naked Attraction, Mondays 10pm. Not watched it myself.
