Replica shirts for ladies

Post by scarletjim »

Does anyone know where to buy ladies replica shirts? My GF wants a Spurs shirt (just to support me really :) ) - home or away, any fairly recent season. But she's no idea what size to get, as the ladies ones seem to be 4-6 or 8-10 (i.e. 2 sizes there, not 4 sizes). She's not fussed about it being an official one or a current one, so ideally we need to things:

1. Somewhere to try them on to find the right size, so in an actual store presumably (could mail order then send back, but it's a bit of a faff). So far we've been to several sports shops in 2 towns, including big Sports Direct stores, and no one has any ladies shirts.
2. Somewhere to order them cheap online - she'd probably only wear it occasionally on holiday, so wouldn't really want to spend more than say £20 or thereabouts. Years ago I bought many club and international shirts from China (?) for about a tenner each, and they were perfect for my needs. Do similar places still exist or have they all been shut down? Do they sell ladies sizes / shapes (for anyone who doesn't know, ladies' shirts are not just smaller men's shirts - they have a much smaller waist, much more fitted)?

Yes this seems to be the kind of place I mean. Does anyone know of any others? Ones who do ladies shirts too?

Horrendously expensive to buy obviously, but also a long way for us to go just to try on. I'm surprised big sports stores don't stock any, especially this early in the season.

Actually if you type 'women' 'shirt' and a spurs player, say 'kane', then you do get lots of hits, for example:

God knows how close to the originals they would be - I can see they don't have club badges, but would the material and colours be the same?

The Sports Direct web site has them so you could order to store (not sure if you could try them while there then return any that don't fit?) however they are a lot more than you would ideally pay:

Yeah that's probably the best plan at the moment, but we don't want to pay that much, and whilst we could probably order two sizes to store just to try, then not take either of them, for me that seems very poor etiquette and would make me feel a bit guilty for wasting their time. Oh well, maybe in 6 months time they will be cheaper (does anyone know when kits tend to be reduced? Late in the season? Not until summer? Start of following season when a new kit is released?)

Indeed - this is the best I've found so far:

No similar page for the away shirt though unfortunately.
