Having got fed up with the changes to the lottery (a syndicate at work with six members has won nothing since the changes), I looked at the traditional pools last night.

£75 welcome bonus plus 4 free games if I played by direct debit, £1 per go to win up to £3m and a choice of 3 other games (HDA and BTTS) means I'll probably switch my UK Lotto funds to this for a while.

Barely realised it was still going after the ill-fated TFF spam-up a few years ago. Assumed the prizes would be peanuts these days as well.

With football's profile these days there's surely scope for a revival. Bring back the days when Final Score talked about telephone claims for 23.5 or 24 points and the dividend forecast, a possible jackpot!
