I'm sure Sterling has only ever took penaltys when de bruyne and aguero haven't been on the pitch. I could be wrong though

Jesus looking good for his price now. Unlucky for some who may have transferred him out last night and not had time to reverse when the aguero news came out this morning. First I heard of it was 7am this morning. Which is also the cut off time for transfers.

Yaya is first choice when starts.
Kdb missed one last season so doubt he will take.
Was same match aguero actually missed to against Everton.
Jesus will hit them or David Silva.

Don't know where you get your sources from Cclem345 but I very much doubt Silva will ever take pens when Jesus and KDB are on the pitch, think I'll stick to fantasy football scout posted by Lfc as I know their a reliable source most the time.

Re: Who takes penaltys now? Jesus or De bruyne
KDB hit one last season. Walked up looking unconfident and missed. He didn't take another one after that for obvious reason that Aguero, Toure and Jesus were available.
I think youl also see if you read the post again I said Jesus first OR Silva.
The reason I said Silva is he is sometimes captain and has took one or two for Spain. If KDB isn't taking them and Jesus is off the pitch why would Silva not hit it? I'd have him over sterling or sane that's for sure.
Why ask for an opinion and then throw it back in someone's face lol. It's not like the Its members on here have Peps number to find out.

Re: Who takes penaltys now? Jesus or De bruyne
You ask for an opinion on a forum for opinions and you throw it back. Nothing more than that.
Nobody has all the answers whether that is penalties free kicks or Huddersfield being clean sheet kings up until the last few games.
If my opinion is that KDB won't hit one cause he missed his last, and that David Silva may hit one if Jesus is off that isn't wrong until the event happens.

Will is used all the time to express opinions.
In a forum like this are we really going to argue about the construction of the English language?
Imagine the post "who will win the champions league?"
People will comment "Real Madrid will win" as short for "I think Real Madrid will win".
It's common however people like yourself clearly just comment and snipe back for arguement sake.

Normally though, a forum such as this is usually based on some substance (not a hunch).
i.e. Silva regularly takes them for Spain or Silva took a few last season.

Re: Who takes penaltys now? Jesus or De bruyne
Firstly the first name I said was Jesus when I gave the option of 2. Incase people can't work it out that was in order of how I saw them being taken. We seem to be missing that.
Secondly I gave my reasons as to why i didnt think KDB would hit penalties.
Hence why I threw another name into the hat.
Thirdly to the disappointment to those who scroll through "official" tips/hints pages seeking an advantage, one of the biggest influences in this game is personal opinion. Whether that comes from a webpage or whether that comes from a hunch.
The stats didn't favour those starting with Huddersfield defenders. There was nothing full proof that Salah would be a hit. Who would have thought Liverpool who had a reasonable number of clean sheets last year with the same defence would concede goals left right and centre.
This game is based on hunches as well as previous stats. So to discredit someone's opinion based on their hunch is farcical. We jump on and off players who we think will perform well.
We pick players with easy fixtures for them to do nothing and perform brilliantly in the big games.

Re: Who takes penaltys now? Jesus or De bruyne
The last penalty Silva took for Man City was in 2012-2013 and he missed it. Pep was annoyed when Aguero gave a penalty to Sterling (which he scored) recently because it felt it was not being taken seriously because they were quite a few goals up and he felt goal difference might be important at the end of the season.
Given those facts, in my opinion, he will not be taking the penalties regardless of whether Jesus is on the pitch or not.
