Aguero Watch

Post by Latic »

I know that there are threads on game specific forums about Ageuro but I wanted to create one for all.
A lot of us are keeping an eye on Aguero as a possible FF season winner.

So, where are we right now? No real news yet. Physioroom.com have him back on Saturday against Southampton, but he won't be rushed back according to reports this morning.

One to keep an eye on this week.

About the interview about not rushing back:
But it transpired that interview was recorded last week and this week Aguero has stepped up his recovery programme and has trained with the full squad.

Sergio Aguero is unavailable for the visit of Southampton, Manuel Pellegrini has revealed.
.....
“It is too soon for Sergio,” said Pellegrini. “He has trained for only two days and needs more time. Perhaps one week more and he will be prefect for the game against Liverpool.

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed Sergio Aguero is in the squad to face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
...
But the City manager revealed the Argentinian striker is in contention to return on Sunday.
Pellegrini said: "Sergio is OK. He worked the whole week with the squad normally.
"He doesn't have any problems."

Pablo Zabaleta:
"He is fit and he has been training well with the team this week, but he was not 100% to play against Southampton, so that is why the manager decided to leave him out - and let him be fully ready for Liverpool."

Well, he's played about 90 mins in total over the past 2 games.

I've not seen either of the matches - how sharp was he looking? Is he worth using a TFF transfer on yet (form over fixtures and all that)?
