Friendlyitis.....
RVP is the biggest name in term of points potential* to pull out so far: 'toe and groin' (probably best to assume the injuries were picked up separately and not speculate on any single incident that could have caused them.....)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/24908660" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(* unless you are playing Scrabble** where Boaz Myhill could get you more, especially if you put the z on a triple letter score)
(** I know you can't use real names in Scrabble)

Re: Friendlyitis.....
surely if you used his whole name rather than his initials you could get a fairly decent score
I haven't actually worked it out
you aren't allowed multiple words in scrabble anyway, it's not a crossword
although you could separately have Robin and Van which is more than you could do with Boaz and MyHill
although you could have My and Hill

Re: Friendlyitis.....
You could legally use 'robin' or 'hill' (or 'van' or 'my')
Robin would win on points
Caveat: Subject to double word slash letter score combo action
We should just fill the dullness of the international break with a comp to find the highest scoring legitimate scrabble score from a footballer's name......
Maybe I shouldn't suggest that and encourage people
EDIT - all written before seeing hancock's post

BREAKING NEWS
Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard and Tottenham defender Kyle Walker will miss England's friendly against Chile on Friday through injury.
Gerrard aggravated a hip injury in the win over Fulham on Saturday, while Walker was missing from England training on Wednesday.
But Chelsea's Frank Lampard, who had been feeling unwell, has trained with his international team-mates.
Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck have already withdrawn from the squad.

If the international break had been over Easter, and Chelsea were playing Stoke on Saturday I wonder if Costa would have made a spectacular recovery.murf wrote:Mourinho's mind games have worked and Spain have released the 'injured' Costa.
Nah, I am sure Jose would do everything he could to help Vicente del Bosque.

Re: Friendlyitis.....
considering Costa came off at 2-2 in a game Chelsea needed to win I think it is fair to assume he has a genuine injury plus he did join the Spain squad who have confirmed they have performed their own tests and concluded he should go back for treatment.
wouldn't suggest this is necessarily Mourinho mind games at work.
